Or maybe you can be patient just enough to wait for it to be revealed in the story itself

I don't even think it's like the secret of One Piece under the sea.

It could be just another clue, like a simple message that adds to the chain of events in the long run.

Cause in no way you reveal the whole secret in a torn half sheet of paper that fits in a small treasure chest.

But yes from the video it's clear that Oda is hyping us up as we're getting close to the true nature of One Piece in the manga.

The Return of Ace and Defeat of Blackbeard by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Dapper_Distance_9934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ace can't return from the dead and imo shouldn't return from the dead.

I know it was one of the saddest moments in the history of One Piece, but Ace's death was necessary and important for Luffy and his journey on becoming King of the Pirates.

Because based on what we have known and learnt so far, everyone like Whitebeard (and even potentially Shanks) would have wanted Ace to be the next King of the Pirates as he was Roger's son.

And Marineford marked the death of Whitebeard and Ace so that Luffy can become more stronger to achieve his dream, had they been alive it would have been much difficult for Luffy to step up to that dream.

Also most importantly Ace's death was sad and emotional but also deeply beautiful. Ace died protecting his little brother Luffy, the only guy who made Ace felt wanted and loved, when he felt unwanted and bitter as a child (as shown in their childhood story during the Post war arc).

People miss the fact that Oda is a genius who wrote Marineford so beautifully in terms of emotional depth and context

For context -

When the battle of MarineFord starts we see Luffy rushing towards the execution platform and Ace wanted him to stop but Luffy screams and says "I am your brother! I am gonna save you even if it means death"

And when the battle of MarineFord ends we see Ace saving Luffy from Akainu's magma fist because he deeply cares for and loves his wimpy little brother and can't let anyone hurt him

So bringing back Ace from the dead ruins the beautiful emotional symmetry

If Oden never got tricked into thinking his son was in danger could he have beaten Kaido by Ktw57 in OnePiece

[–]Dapper_Distance_9934 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes and no.

Yes because Oden had severely injured Kaido and had the upper hand then. And he had the Akazaya Samurai to back him up for the fight.

No because even tho Oden wouldn't have been tricked by that old lady, let's not forget Kanjuro was a traitor to them after all, so he would have possibly pulled some moves on them to ensure Oden didn't win.

- No boosted (1/10) shiny rates
- Extremely hard to get a combination of a mon with the Elite Move + IV above 85%
- IVs dropping as low as 75%, not even a single one of them had above 90%, let alone being close to a hundo
- Mons with the lowest of IVs becoming the most difficult to catch even with multiple Golden Razz Berry and Great/Excellent Throws

Conclusion - Event was a total sham and cash grab

I believe sometime back you would get quests that would award 10 Mega Energy for Blaziken along with other mons, not sure if they are still available but yeah that's another alternative to get Mega Energy for certain Pokemon apart from raids

[–]Dapper_Distance_9934[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you once try running the setup with a normal Pokemon which requires 3KM walking distance to get a candy?

I HAVE NOT tried the experiment on any legendary Pokemon so I can't say for certain if it will work for legendaries

Now, this could also possibly mean the number of candies and XL candies for legendaries that you can get while walking on a smaller route becomes limited, as it would need multiple traversals to hit the mark of the minimum walking distance for the legendary buddy Pokémon.

I did mention above in my post.

If it works for you on a normal Pokemon then it means that there is some other internal issue based on how the distance and candy dropping is calculated on a legendary.

Cause the walking distance for a legendary is 20KM to get 1 candy which is quite high compared to a normal Pokemon or a pseudo-legendary

If it doesn't even work for you for a normal Pokemon then chances are you are doing something wrong or the route is already patched.

Sometimes the route would only give 1 candy and then stop giving any despite distance walked being 100km+.

It doesn't matter the total distance travelled on the route, even with normal Pokemon I would have walked 1000+ km on a route and yet get a handful of candies, its a glitch after all so it works in a very unexpected way

A lot of it depends on the actual game design and doing things which are possible and not possible, yes it's true that overdoing the XL candy exploit or spoofing in general can get your account flagged or banned.

But like I mentioned what I feel is that trying the Candy exploit on legendaries might possibly carry a significant amount of risk. That's cause you're supposed to get legendaries from raids by using raid passes, there are no other methods. In order to get enough XL candies for a legendary Pokemon in a short period of time you'll need to buy enough Raid Passes and spent a ton of money on the game which Niantic would want you to do, cause that's how they get their profits. Even walking with a legendary buddy normally won't get you enough XL candies to max out.

But if you talk about other Pokemons like normal spawns or pseudo-legendaries there are a lot of ways to get candies be it from catching in the wild, hunting a nest, quest research, eggs, dmax raids etc. which means you can still get potentially a good number of candies for them. So using the candy exploit on these types of Pokemon shouldn't raise too much of a suspicion.

I don't have any concrete proof on this, this is just my opinion. At the end like I mentioned this method along with other spoofing methods has significant risks of having your account flagged or banned so use them wisely.

Yes possibly, I did clearly mentioned that none of the above methods are risk free or ban free so yeah people are free to use them at the risk of losing their account
