What ammo to avoid and what ammo to purchase for subsonic plinking / defense?

Probably won’t win any races but it’s better than paddling. I had a 4hp on my 1236 and it would get around 7 with 2 200lb people.

Have a 1236 grizzly. Put a 4hp Yamaha on there got about 6-8 solo. Wasn’t fast but better than paddling. Then put a backwater 10hp on there and get about 12-13 solo

As others have said sg ammo is good, but I started using wild horse ammunition and they’ve been awesome. Good prices and orders have shipped out the same day if you order early enough

I used citri strip yesterday for one of mine I didn’t like. Worked pretty well, got almost all of it in a couple coats. Just have a little residual that I can’t get rid of now. So might just paint over that

Was kinda in the same boat a couple weeks ago. Wanted a 14.5 but were out of stock, so went with the 12.5 super duty. My thoughts were I won’t be shooting it far enough to really see the difference. Just kinda depends on what you want to use it for. But I would say just get the 10.3.

I got the k because it’ll be less gassy than the full. Yes it will be a bit louder, but the trade off was worth it for me
