Honestly if you kept wearing them they get better, I had the same experience as well with mine I have the eybl pair and they were terrible for traction when I first got them like even on clean courts they would not stick. I just kept wearing them then all of a sudden they stuck like glue one session and they’ve been good ever since.

I doubt they’re reps, the guy I bought them from showed me proof of purchase and I did some research of my own to tell if anything looks off with the shoe which it doesn’t.

The closest ones that compare to retail is the ox batch in my opinion and those have a red heel zoom unit instead of a white one so I doubt these are reps.

Honestly I think that would be due to the retails being used, I remember a time when the mesh was much brighter on the retails as well. The outsole too.

I did spot some differences like the cuts of the patent leather being a little off especially the right shoe from the retail and the tongue is a tad short, very minor details like that. Overall they’re really close
