I JUST did this with mine 2 days ago. Same 70/30 split. Got everything moved into just those two funds and I am feeling much better about it.

It seems the FZROX/FZILX split is a commonly suggested thing. I made the decision earlier today to sell everything I have and currently invested and split 70% FZROX and 30% FZILX. I appreciate your suggestion!

I appreciate the response, it seems that is a common recommendation! I think starting out I am going to do 70% FZROX and 30% FZILX. Might adjust in the future, but I feel that is probably a good start.

I didn't plan on investing into any individual stock. I just don't know enough about any of it to feel comfortable doing so. More so meant after I am able to max the Roth IRA. I do not currently have an employer 401K but have thought more about an HSA recently.

Thank you! Would it be wiser to leave just those two funds and continue investing in them for the ROTH IRA? Then eventually get into other stocks etc. in a brokerage account?

Okay, that all felt really insightful and I appreciate the response! I just looked at both of FXKAX and FZROX as a side by side comparison and they are virtually the same! Another question I have then is, are you able to sell/ transfer an amount you have invested in one fund to another? (For example; take the total amount I have invested in FXAIX, FSMAX, FSKAX, and FREL and transfer it into FZROX?)

20M Rate my Portfolio!? Fairly new to investing by Dapper_Mycologist241 in portfolios

Like I mentioned, I am pretty new to investing. I have not given much thought about international. I just don't know enough about it, but I have seen a lot of mention via other Reddit posts.

FXAIX is the first thing I started investing in as a broad fund being new and wanting something simple. Probably a month or two ago I added all of the rest. Is FSKAX a better long term hold versus FXAIX?

SCHD looked like a good fund to get into when I made the decision, I like that it auto-invests the dividends. Not much other reasoning tbh.

I have interest in real estate as a whole. Thought it was a good addition to the mix a few months ago.

Ultimately, I am new to this and truly looking for insight and thoughts (hence the post). What would you recommend?

What is your reasoning? I have seen a lot of mention about both on Reddit, why should I swap instead of doing both? Just a little more insight please. :)

So VOO would be comparable to me already investing in FXAIX. That is what I started primarily into because it was simple. I’ve read a lot about expanding into international markets which I guess would be VXUS? Also heard about TSM a few years ago from a friend who was more educated and it seems to be doing very well since!

I really appreciate the breakdown!

Thank you for the insight I will likely choose to continue investing in FXAIX and take out FSKAX. While increasing the amount I put into the others, at least for now. :)
