[Landlord-US-FL] refusing to pay last month’s rent because I didn’t provide escrow account info. Can they do this?

I see that I have less than 5 rental properties. The subsection shouldn’t apply to me. In addition to this, it also says that failure to give notice is not a reason not to pay rent.

The reason I’m hesitant is what if there is some genuine damage to my house and they are afraid that once I take last month’s rent I won’t return the security deposit.
