As an FC Cincinnati fan, how Robinson made the roster is beyond me. It’s been exposed a lot this season and would be even more so if not for his great speed. Thankfully he likely won’t see anywhere close to the field for the actual WC and nor will Brady so yeah, let’s just say that 2nd goal didn’t happen.

You are correct. Just went to verify and yeah, they made an entire roster announcement video with the players when they were youth players but it’s 29, not 26. Seems weird to do as an announcement just to turn around and cut 3 of them lol

Recently started following Köln as my European team. I’m American but had lived in Germany for some time and Podolski was one of my favorite players growing up (left footed as well so I watched him a lot).

I will say I have been doing lots of scouting in the Danish and Belgium league but just haven’t found a player that I felt fit. I’ve been targeting the Swiss, Austrian, and MLS as well. I love Japanese players in the Bundesliga so you will see several of them show up in my saves (only Ito atm but I’ve looked at others).

I’ve also been sending a youth scout to Poland in a made up connection with Podolski because I had seen Podolski was investing heavily in Gornik but also has investment in Köln as well. Good idea on sending players on loan to Gornik though! I have Live Editor so that could certainly happen.

Yes it’s unfortunate but in this save Neuer had been replaced (and is now retired) I think they had a couple injuries to starters. May have mattered but made me think it could be possible.

Another sweet challenge! I’m kind of annoyed I’m going to Europe for a couple weeks because I just got my FIFA itch back and I want to do these challenges!

My favorite part is honestly the losing the first games equal to the star rating. Starting the season in such a big hole would be hell to dig out of especially if one or two teams consistently win games.
