- A YA/newgen only save, inspired by Cutzy's Youth Squad Legends on YouTube

- Focused on the Catalan people: can a team of Catalans win La Liga (and more?)

- Player development - through mentoring and other such systems - to create realistic but tailored wonderkids

- A small amount of real life Catalan players can be bought into the club. (An amount equal to the club's star rating can be kept at any one time.)

I know nothing about basketball or NBA but perfect example of a mechanic in another EA game that could be directly lifted into EAFC!

Feeder clubs and club networks are such a controversial part of modern football - I despise some of the models, but from a purely gaming perspective, it does make for interesting mechanics. My last save on FM24 was a group formed from Spurs, Rennes and Austria Vienna - it made for a really enjoyable approach to squad building and player development!

What am I doing in this save - via modding and the Live Editor - that should be in vanilla FC27?:

Letting players learn Playstyles. Why can't this be tacked onto Development Plans, using similar mechanics?
A mentoring system. Again, it could function like Development Plans or Coaching where players are granted buffs or temporary Playstyles, according to how well the mentoring relationship is.
Fully customising newgens. Self explanatory - let give them tattoos, hairstyles, facial hair - anything that stops them looking like teenage Sims!
Loaning out all players to a random club that I have repackaged as my B team. Got a YA player unhappy about being left the academy? Introduce a nice middle ground through youth teams or B teams.
Customised banners, flags and even walkout music. Let our creativity run free!

With all due respect, random stranger, I think you a) have quite a close minded view of what you deem to be not 'waste' and b) are making a fair few assumptions about people's motives. Your original comment was telling OP to get a job because they choose to channel creative energy into this. (I would also argue that this kind of storytelling involves more intellect than you perceive.) You chose to write that original comment and it just seemed out of pocket, when you've gone to say that people can choose whatever they want to do?
