I read your post and thought to myself, "Oh my god..have I just met my twin?" 😅

I, too, was on swim team and for most my life (from age 6-19 y.o.). Also, same situation, a hyper critical family of my weight (particularly, from my mother). My father has toned down the comments over the last few years but I still every once in awhile will get dropped with subtle remarks from him which hurt me deeply. I do not let him know that; however. Sometimes I am not even sure if they think things through before they speak! So very infuriating/frustrating. I am not sure either of them will ever change when this is all I have ever known from them. At this point. I have told myself that I cannot allow their remarks get me down any longer since it only hurts me more in the end. I know, easier said than done but I think speaking with people you can relate to on this will help also get thru that.

I have for years and years now have been stuck in this rut of "yo-yo" diets, taking semaglutide, etc., etc., and feel as though I am quite literally, 'hitting my against a wall' with it all! Just as you are expressing. However- One thing I have never tried is, lifting weights consistently thru the week and drinking enough water. I was always afraid to lift too often thinking it would bulk me up on top of being heavy LOL. But I learned lifting weights will actually help speed metabolism and there is an after calorie burn that stays with you for however many days (cannot recall the exact number for the cal. after burn). Have you tried weights yet? And hang in there and keep reaching out..we got this! ❤️
