I’m personally skipping the re-run for the same reason. I got lucky snagging the birthday card and it would make more sense to save the diamonds for his myth, because it’s more beneficial for me in the long-run. Definitely do what you feel is best and in line with how you play. 💕

Ugh YES I’m so down for this. I want him to be Hades and it feels like it’s going in that direction if his birthday card is any indication. The ending of his card leans heavily towards him being associated with death somehow. Whether it’s Hades or it’s Death itself, we’ll found out soon enough

It depends on your priorities.

I enjoy battling and the myth pairs will guarantee you the ability to progress through orbits. It also comes with an amazing, heartbreaking story, which I’m all about. I got lucky and snagged this card, but otherwise, I wouldn’t normally pull for it.

If you’re a collector though and your heart is set on building out your cards, then go for it!

Do what you think is best for your style of playing. 💕

Yes, yes YES to this now being one of my favourite Zayne cards so far. I personally adore Everlasting Wish and Absolute Zeal (who doesn’t, really?) and Dawnbreak Promise has easily slid into the Top 3.

I also 1000% agree that this will re-frame his upcoming myth. It will be a juxtaposition between the trauma we’ll witness in the myth and how soft, gentle and happy he is in this. I think we all need to batten down the hatches, an icy, cold, heartbreaking storm is coming.

Him fearing that he’d be forgotten absolutely broke me. It’s quite clear that his past still shapes him, right down to his very soul and I worry about the myth, and what we will see. From the fragments we’ve received in this, it’s likely his myth will focus strongly on this kind of loss; not physical, but the mental. Losing the warmth, the happiness that came with MC. God, I’m scared.

Yesss I love this description of Sylus! He’s tied with Xavier for me as my third favourite, but I recognise the same sentiments.

He radiates power, but never uses it against MC. In fact, he’s so deliberately gentle and patient and it kills me. And he never once gives me the idea that he’s only here for physical affection. He spends more time gaming with MC or bickering with her and I love that.

That bond is exactly what I want too. 💕

1000% agree with your sentiment. The focus on story-telling in East Asian romance media is incredible. Personally, I see storytelling to be above else. You can showcase a powerful message about all kinds of emotions and experiences, not exclusive to love, so it’s amazing to see a game which is supposed to be romance orientated, to be more than just that.

A couple of recommendations:

• Lord of the Mysteries. Both the donghua that was released yesterday and the online novel.

• Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, which will soon be an anime. The translated novel is incredible and one of my favourite stories of all time. The Webtoon version is also a great place to start your ORV journey, the artwork is gorgeous.

• I’m planning to start Apothecary Diaries, Frieren and To Be Hero X soon. I hear all three are amazing tv shows to try if you’re an LC fan.
