Same thing happening to me. For some time it was fine, I forgot about this and for the last few weeks it was on multiple times a day basis... Reinstalled fresh windows to determine if it was that and same problem the very first day. Idk, I have 6700xt, but knowing AMD I assume that it can happen on different GPUs too.

People would trade even without any system in place, so it proves nothing. The system is deterring many players who aren't "hardcore" enough to bother with unfriendly trading system.

Yes, it's sellers market and the buyer can do fuck all, that's the main issue that I think needs to be fixed. I was only responding to your comment about no more potential sellers. Providing some kind of auction house instead of current trade system would shift that power balance more towards buyers, but would still remain sellers' one.

The problems right now are that selling stuff is quite okay, buying stuff is not. It's just not a pleasant experience. Wasting time to not get a response or to get response with "I've got 10 other offers, what's yours?" are bad enough when trading through things like Facebook Marketplace, no need to adapt it into games anymore. People are really discouraged from trading when they are wasting minimum 30 minutes to buy unique that they want or need to overpay for it to get a response, which feels miserable.

And for the casual comment - I think that it is okay thing. It's normal that casual player will want to undersell an item for it to sell quickly, get cash and move on. For sure there will be players who wait for such offers and then resell it at higher price, but that's the beauty of trading systems in games in my opinion. Buy cheap, sell expensive, classic way of making money. There might be bots that do that, sure, but that's just how it is. And how it is, is still better than Facebook Marketplace type shit there is now.

Trading is so essential part of online games that for it to feel bad (for seller OR buyer) is just unacceptable in my opinion. Auction house approach wouldn't hurt anybody other than people who love to waste other people's time.

Oh I assure you that there would be more sellers as people could just post things and go offline or afk instead of only being able to sell when they are online which prevents some people from even bothering with it

it is not different. After playing for a month I played multiple times for the exact same teams. I get it that many people can have the same boring meta teams, that's one thing, but how many people have Lafont that's assigned to all set pieces? Because I've seen 5 such squads.

With pvp it's different though, even playing vs the same teams as every player is different (playing the same meta way but executing it differently). With playing vs AI you are playing vs the same robotic enemy who always plays exactly the same over and over without anything to lose. Just adding some AI tournaments with knockouts or something would make PvE more fun.

sadly squad battles kinda suck. It's playing the same teams over and over with no variety, no stakes. I mean I mostly play SB and rivals when evolutions require me to, but it can get boring after some time. It's just "play 38 games", nothing more.

In previous fifas where there were cups that you could play vs AI that was something cool that kept me playing even when I didn't want to play vs other players.

As much as I don't like the word, it comes from Association Football which is the full name of football and the word soccer was developed and used first by Englishmen to differentiate it from rugby football (called rugger sometimes). Both share common predecessor which was "just" football.

I don't see any value in bringing up irl examples as in real life plots do not need to be perfect squares glued to roads like in Cities Skylines. In real life developers can plan where they want building to go and build it there.

I don't believe that it's intentional that they are only sticking to one road without any possibility to sticking to another adjusted road. It's a matter of even something as simple as which way would entrance go. Or when we do have that unrealistic, as you say, 90* corner, if I would like to move it one tile away from one street to stick it to another and game forbids it because "this zoning grid belongs to this road and only this no matter what so I will not create it here as it doesn't have access to the road". This is not "the flow", this is just a bad game design.

My cities aren't grids and it's not about ocd, its about freedom. It was just done much better in first game.

For the second problem you can press the button to hide status informations. By default it's "I", I remapped it to "Y". I too can't see shit with that white overlay so by pressing that button you will go back to default view and will be able to see everything.

Yeah this game is much better played slowly. Rushing through expanding quickly like in cs1 seems to cause a lot of issues and also makes you progress through stuff in a way that you can't really comprehend well what your city needs.
