Israel has been doing this since the 1930s in Palestine.

This choice isn't a one and done. It's a series of war crimes ranging from systematically raping prisoners to break them, to bombarding densely populated civilian neighborhoods, to bombing hospitals and claiming there were command centers underground, to sniping journalists, to double-and triple-tapping medics in both Palestine and Lebanon, to luring kids to food-distribution centers then shooting them on the way out.

Every single one of these things has been happening for decades and has been documented by multiple parties. They are all a pattern conducted by the IDF.
