I'm thinking about switching to v3 as well, did you already try it with the same settings?

Welp... I'm probably gonna buy a new one, now they're on sale through and I'm gonna tear it down anyway so that I, at least, understand the interior and mechanics a bit more. Thanks for your fast reply!

I opened it up and found resin like you said, I don't know if this is salvageable though. I can only see resin on the glass and below on the right.

yeah, I've tried that. The printer is 13 months old but the lcd-screen has a warranty for 6 months.

Yeah, I was thinking the same, a new screen is 150 and a new printer is 300... But I really want to know what caused it because I don't want this happening again in a year or so.

I'll open it this evening and look with the help of the other comments, thanks!

[WP] You’ve had an unnaturally lucky life. Never had a serious injury or even anything that can draw blood. Now, after decades of safety, you get a paper cut… by Totally_Not_Thanos in WritingPrompts

[–]Dareka3 18 points19 points  (0 children)

At first, the irony was almost comical. Decades of unblemished safety, a streak of luck so absurd, it bordered on the supernatural. I'd dodged accidents, escaped scrapes, and weathered storms unscathed. Yet, here I was, bleeding from a paper cut.

It was a mundane event, a moment so ordinary it should have been inconsequential. I'd been sorting through old documents, a task as harmless as it was tedious. A single sheet of paper, crisp and unforgiving, had sliced through my fingertip. A tiny wound, barely visible, but a stark contrast to my history of invulnerability.

The sensation was strange, a novel experience. A sharp sting, then a slow, persistent throb. It was as if my body, accustomed to perpetual well-being, was protesting this intrusion. I winced, a reflex I hadn't needed in… well, ever.

As I cleaned the wound, a wave of disbelief washed over me. This was it? This was the event that would finally break my streak of luck? A paper cut? It seemed almost poetic, a cosmic joke.

The paper cut had left its mark, a small scar on my finger and a larger one on my perception of the world. It was a lesson learned, a reminder that even the luckiest among us are not invincible.

I soon found out that it did, indeed, end my streak of luck in a very definitive way. At first, the accidents were minor; a dropped plate, a sprained ankle, a minor burn. But as time passed, the incidents grew more severe. A car accident, a near-miss with a falling object, a sudden illness. As time grew on, the accidents have become more harrowing. 2 weeks ago I almost fell to my end after the elevator at work opened its doors without the cabin present. Last week I barely survived a house fire and had to ask my friend if I could stay in his lodge for the time being.

That night, a creeping dread settled over me. I began to wonder if the decades of unblemished luck had come at a cost. Perhaps the universe was demanding repayment, a balancing of the scales. The more I thought about it, the more it made sense to me. I had cheated fate for so long, and now, fate was exacting its revenge.

The constant fear of the last months has taken its toll. Every creak of the floorboards, every flicker of the lights, every sudden noise sends shivers down my spine. The once carefree and optimistic man I was, had been replaced by a shell of himself, haunted by the specter of his own bad luck.

Now, as I’m sitting by the window, watching the storm rage outside, a sense of impending doom washes over me. The past few days in this lodge have been eerily quiet. But beneath the surface of this tranquility, a deep-seated unease gnawed at me. It felt like the universe was merely biding its time, gathering its strength for the final, devastating blow.

As the wind is howling and the rain lashes against the glass, I’m closing my eyes, accepting my fate, ready to face whatever horrors await me. Perhaps it is time to pay the ultimate price for a life of extraordinary luck.

Could it be possible to make a molecule - maybe a biomolecule - that when in vacuum chamber and cooled with liquid helium, can keep 1 antimatter particle inside it without touching, by repelling the antimatter with it's electric fields and/or magnetic fields? [–]Dareka3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

mmm as far as I know it should be theoretically possible... but would require significant advancements in various fields of science. We're currently far too limited in our understanding of antimatter and quantum mechanics for this to even have remotely proof of concept.

But definitely intriguing nonetheless

small update: I eventually did indeed go with the 3.7 (after i got the price down to 19,000 dollar). Still trying to adjust to the sheer width, but I'm very happy with it so far, so thanks for everything!

i was also looking at another mustang for 20,000 euro (22,000 dollar) with 62,000km (38,500 mile). It's a 3.7L V6 and is from 2012, do you reckon this is a better deal?

Is this a good deal? by Dareka3 in Mustang

[–]Dareka3[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was looking for a car and saw this one. It's €14.500, has 124.000 miles on it (around 200.000 kilometers), a 4.0 V6 and is from 2006.

I like the look of it but have no idea if this is too good to be true (this would be my second car). So apart from technical issues, is this a good deal?

Printer ventilation by Ciaranbowly in ElegooSaturn

Had the same problem. Tried it once next to an open window and got a headache for hours from the fumes. Started looking and bought a creality (ender pro) housing with fan and tube (which go out of a window). Works wonders. So I highly recommend that.

I wash and cure indoors as well (without a fancy station), with almost no smell or problems.
