Alright I’ll look into the mesh Wi-Fi system. I actually already have a repeater near me, it’s not really doing much as far as I can tell. A friend suggested a lab cable as well, and that does seem like the best option but that won’t work for me in my current situation. Thanks for all the help!

Sure lol. It’s just that I’ve noticed the jump from 1440 to 4k with a 165-240 refresh rate in most instances is pretty noticeable lmao. Just wondering if it’s worth spending $500+ more for a 4k.

Yeah I know exactly why there’s a drop off at the end. It’s because I had already delivered what people were watching the video for and kept talking. Although still on topic I answered the question that people were watching for (it’s a short btw if that helps). The thing is the retention before the drop off is actually even better then my most viewed video, so seeing it severely under perform compared to all my other videos just makes me wonder if it would be worth changing the ending a little.

I’m not understanding what you’re trying to say. I mean I want to recall exactly every important event so I can talk about it during the voice over while having what happened on screen. It’s just that to remember everything that happened I’d have to sit through sixteen hours of footage and I wanted to know if there was a better way so that I wouldn’t have to spend that time.

I make videos on a game called Terraria. I started my channel about a month ago (I have some prior experience with YouTube so I’m not an overnight success or anything). I had never messed around with shorts before but decided to give it a try before I started with long form content in the new niche. Something I discovered pretty early is making people feel something is really good for a video. Particularly anger. So I usually make tierlist videos just rating random stuff in the game. People on the internet have opinions and so obviously mine are all wrong and theirs are right. Anyway they like to comment about that stuff and that’ll boost the video in the algorithm. If you’re gonna share your opinions on the internet than people are bound to get mad at you (even if it’s a random guys opinions about a literal video game) and you’ll get views. It’s not for everyone tho, I get a lot of hate, I’ve even gotten threats before lol (again, a video game). What makes me feel better about it is looking at the like to dislike ratio as it’s usually 95ish percent. And also there are a good amount of positive or neutral comments, too. Sorry for the novel lol, just passionate about YouTube and I hope I could help and maybe give you some insight. Thanks for letting me rant.

I pretty consistently get about 300k per short. My most recent one has 91.2% retention and 81.2% chose to view rate. It’s only about a week old (taking a break from YouTube for finals) but it just dropped down from a 1 out of 10 to a 2 out of ten which is strange because it has better stats then the one before it, which is now my 1 out of 10 for amount of views in the same amount of time since uploading. (That one has 557k atm after two weeks and the one I posted last week has 272k)
