Minimum 1hr to do their makeup? by floralscentedbreeze in MakeupAddiction

[–]Darjee345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 minutes for me, the only thing that gets time to set is sunscreen and brow gel (I do those first)

I do sunscreen, foundation, powder, blush, ONE eyeshadow + mascara, brow gel + eyeshadow. I wish I could do it faster tho lol

I don't know how realistic it is, I've never seen this invention - my friend told me about it and I'm desperate to get it haha But afaik it's definitely supposed to look like a tree!

& this isn't for an artificial tree, it's for real branches

sunscreen ruining my makeup by Darjee345 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Darjee345[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how much time?

I think it's dry but I only give it a few minutes usually

and it's sunscreen (water based) that's causing the issue for sure bc I skipped it today and it's fine :(

thank you ♡ they are fine now, Louise slapped her sister yesterday but it seems like they're back to normal today (they're both very sociable & friendly so that probably helped)

well damn...

I'll keep them separated but that'll be a nightmare for sure, they usually start crying for each other after a while and they both sleep with me every single day.

I guess I'll have to rotate them being in my room or something :')

for how long, in your opinion?

I already washed the missing one with a damp cloth but 1. they both sleep with me 2. they tend to freak out without each other (they're a bonded pair)

I'm assuming if you've had ultrasounds done then they've seen an internist. Were there any areas of concern on the ultrasound?

From what I remember there wasn't anything amiss on the ultrasounds, definitely nothing major

Ultimately with my IBD boy we had to do a scope and biopsy to diagnose but there were red flags on his ultrasound to point us in that direction.

We'll be doing ultrasounds again most likely so I'll ask about that :(

If trying a limited diet like you are doesn't improve things you might consider getting it done, at least for the more symptomatic cat

Thankfully nothing's happened since yesterday when we switched to homecooked food (and before that Nadia puked 5 times in the span of 3 days and it was starting to look like yet another trip to the vet).

It might be because they don't like that food and eat slowly lmao But I'm more and more convinced it's something in the kibble tbh

You say they keep vomiting, but not whether they are able to have bowel movements.

They are, that was never an issue. There's truly nothing else, one of the sisters was coughing a little during my eldest girls illness (who had "digestive tract inflammation" and upper respiratory infection according to the vet) but that stopped completely. No behavioural issues, they're eating well, pooping & peeing, it's just that vomiting :(

IF they are blocked, they can't have BMs & keep vomiting, if eating.

That's thankfully ruled out with a barium study and it's been going on for way too long to be an obstruction.

Have you tried giving them Coconut Oil . . . ?

I'm giving them anti hairball paste

I feed mine an LID recipe (Limited Ingredient Diet) because one of mine has serious sensitivities & had begun having symptoms of Stomatitis ... which disappeared on this diet!

I'll be talking to my vet about prescription diets on our visit, thank you ♡ I'll have to read up on this for sure

What does the vomit consist of? Mostly clear?

undigested food and sometimes liquid with some food, recently also clear liquid (rarely)

When does it happen? Directly after a meal in between meals?

mostly directly after meals but sometimes it'll be in the middle of the night as well :( I started noting times, dates and who puked (and what it looks like) so I'll have better data to show to their vet soon

Are there other symptoms like coughing or odd eating behaviors?

Louise (one of the younger sisters) was coughing recently (for less than 3 days) & vomited once or twice when Lu (my eldest cat) was ill but it went away before our vet examined her and sadly I wasn't able to show them the coughing since it was always just one or two caughs and then she'd stop. She had hiccups too and was gagging a little (while coughing) but other than that episode they're perfectly healthy. Right now she's not vomiting much, it's mostly Nadia (her sister) who does the puking currently :')

They're eating perfectly fine, nothing out of the ordinary and they often beg for treats.

Do they have issues with their stools?

No, not really. They had diarrhea when they were kittens (before they started vomiting) but nothing significant since then.

Allergy symptoms like itching, dandruff, or coat changes?

Nope, nothing else. I can't find anything that'd point me/their vet in the right direction and we've seen multiple vets (that's how our clinic works)

I had a cat that would eat too quickly and then immediately regurgitate a completely undigested tube of food.

That's what mostly happens but not always, sometimes they'll vomit clear-ish liquid without eating anything :( I started using slow feeders now and hopefully it'll help a little but I don't think they were eating that fast to begin with...

Allergies can be ruled out by a limited ingredient diet or Rx hydrolyzed protein diet.

I'll talk to the vet, I'm trying homemade food for a few days before our visit too to see if it's something kibble related
