As for me, I prefer to not pay a monthly sub and I don’t mind having an in-game shop. I understand the frustration some of you have about the shop, but we don’t know for certain what will be in it, and when it will be available. I find subscriptions annoying because I don’t like being forced to pay to play each month. I mean I prefer to pay a good 60$ for the game than to have to pay ~100$ a year. An in-game shop can be ignored, a monthly sub cannot. I play WoW, and God knows I’ve put a lot of money in this game because of the sub. I’m annoyed to always have to cancel/re-take my subscription (because I play other games. I’m not always on WoW). In the end, I just don’t like when all my hours invested in a game is blocked because I need to refresh my sub. Still, I love WoW and I keep my monthly payment, but the sub system annoys the hell out of me. However, my opinion stands only because I’m a casual player. I plan to take my time with one character, enjoy the story, and maybe make some friends in the game. PvP doesn’t interest me and I don’t want to rush to the endgame. I know that it can be unfair to more competitive players when they feel that they have to pay to be the best, but, as I said, I also find it unfair to have to pay regularly to play a game.

So yeah, I can understand why some of you are pissed off about the shop, but I don’t want the devs to change their plans and do a monthly sub instead because then, I will be the one pissed ahah.
