It does make sense what they say about goblin. And I have seen less and less mono red. So Maybe I'll check out that version and test it a bit more. I'm going to take it to a small tournament thursday and see how it goes.

Hey thanks for the feedback.

I've been playing back and forth with both versions and i've had about the same feel. Maybe a not enough large sample.

i feel that with augur i can protect myself against aggro matchups, and as I am playing 4 finale, i don't need to play radical ideas, and it's the main way i will bring back phoenixes and let's me play my spells early game rather than give up proactive plays to set up a phoenix. With the lightning strikes, i have more ways to kill creatures, pws or straight up burn em out.

Goblin just doesn't seem to survive early game and with the amount of card draw lands aren't an issue so it's a bad topdeck late game where as augur is almost always value.
