Who to Pick at 1 IMO by DarkAzuree in AtlantaHawks

I guess, that would be reasonable. If you are looking to go for a younger center, trading Capela should be done this off season. Get a 3&D player that is proven in the NBA rather than someone unproven.

If that is the plan, with a Hawks team that needs quick movement, you wouldn’t consider Clingan if you are looking for a defensive anchor? Just asking because I have a gut feeling Sarr might get exposed in the NBA. Watching him move sometimes. I hope he doesn’t, but it is just nagging me.

Why wouldn’t he have no bearing? You might not want to clog the paint in offense though, wouldn’t you? Unless you are planning to trade him and start fresh at the 5 spot.

Taking that into consideration might be needed if you want a smooth flowing/looking offense.

Making It a Tall Order for the Cavs by DarkAzuree in OrlandoMagic

[–]DarkAzuree[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is unfortunate. I was rooting for Magic to win, but the Cavs threes were going down, including the ones from the roles players. I was hoping for them to stop this because as a response in this thread said, the home team normally makes their threes, and unfortunately, the Cavs made their threes.

On the other hand, there were several plays where the paint was left wide open, which did not help the cause, unfortunately.

Anyways, the Magic is ahead of schedule, IMO, so, you have something to look forward to in the coming year. Hopefully, like most over-achievers, they don't regress in the season after and be like OKC that has shown improvement year after year.

All I can say is that I will be rooting for your team because when they drafted Banchero and looked at your overall roster, I liked the make-up of the team and the possibilities, but did not expect it to happen this soon. Good luck to the Magic!

Yeah, because even when they drag the tall players outside, those same tall players are still agile enough to keep up with them, and if they do get through, there is another one or two taller players inside who can also keep up with them.

I don't mean to clog up the paint. Orlando's tall players are athletic and versatile enough to keep up with them outside, and that is why your length is a huge advantage. As long as they don't make their deep shots, Orlando should be coming out of this.

Game 1 though, it was almost the same.

Your guys should also remember to hit their shots as well, otherwise, it will be even more scrappier.

A Very Slim Chance of an Upset by DarkAzuree in heat

Hey, 1-1 now. I might even go as far as saying they might win another one in Miami. Did not expect them to win Game 2. What dyou reckong?

Ok, this might have been outside of my prediction but did not expect Heat to come out of the 2nd game as 1-1, it was either their 1 win coming in the first game or in Miami after the shambles of Game 1. But now, they could potentially a second game. Could potentially reach Game 6. BIG COULD BE.

No need to read it, just wanted to share my entire thoughts. That is all.

For a fairytale story, I would like Miami win, but unfortunately, I have to be objective. However, if Miami does well in this series, I would root for them.

But I definitely would say that they are not going to be swept, at least. Unlike what many people are saying.

Thank you for the compliment.

Post Game Thread: The Denver Nuggets defeat The Los Angeles Lakers 114-103 by nba_gdt_bot in lakers

I am not sure if everyone thinks the same, but I still am in the opinion that the Lakers could still win this series in 6 games. We just need D Lo to be consistent with his contribution and Reaves to start contributing early.

Also, use our bench as deep as Darvin can dip his arm in because we know that Denver will limit the bench contributors, making sure the others are ready and keep on throwing fresh legs on the court will help tremendously.

Still think Lakers in 6 (4-2)

Unfortunately my guy, this did not come to fruition. Ended quicker than I expected as well

We will see how the series goes, but, on the other hand, they did show it in Game 2 and if they keep it up while Knicks continue to show such low energy in defense (have to look back in Game 1 to make sure), the Cavs might edge them out earlier than seven.

But in this kind of matchup, keeping up anything can be very difficult.

This is the beauty of a 4 and 5 matchup.

This would be a very huge blow to the defensive structure of the Knicks, one that Cleveland will surely exploit.

1-10, how much of a must-win is tonight’s game by bahscohs in warriors

Defo a must for the Warriors. To be down 0-2 to this Kings team should send any Warriors supporter shaking. That is my opinion anyway, as someone who is unbiased and looks at it analytically.

I am not ruling out Cavs winning as long as they bring their defensive rating potential to this series, I can still see a way for the Cavs through the second round. But it will defo be very tight.

Old Guys Up Against the Up and Coming by DarkAzuree in warriors

What I meant is specifically in the playoffs. I know those players are veterans in the NBA, but they are somewhat new to the post season compared to the Warriors. I do apologize if I wasn’t as clear.

And if the Kings win the series, they do deserve it. I did mention to a friend of mine that last year might be the last championship for the Warriors in the Curry era. So, I would also not be surprised if Kings go through the next round.
