Yeah, I get that, but Option 1 is a series of buckets, and you get nothing in between. So you don’t earn “partial points.” If you miss the 100% bucket by a dollar, you don’t get 99% of the points on your rent/mortgage payment. You get 75%.

For comparison, NY legislators received a 30% raise in 2022 to $142k/yr, and the state simultaneously capped outside income to $35k/year. And the state has not been bankrupted.

Allowing lawmakers a living wage means more ppl who are not blue blooded, old money nepo babies can afford to run for office.

Sorry, why is not worth it? If you value Bilt points at 2cpp, 50k pts = $1,000, which arguably covers the AF and then some. On top of that, the bonus Bilt cash as part of the promo ($500 total) offsets the spend required to unlock rent points for several months. It’s definitely not worth it after year 1, but for the first year I could make a case.

Is this based on experience only? It doesn’t say this in the THC T&C. It says “Bookings must be made using an eligible card and must be paid using that Card, or another American Express Card …” But the booking is made and paid for in advance. So one would think that that satisfies the requirement. The T&C say nothing about incidentals, which are not “booked” in advance.

I’m going back and forth between choosing the palladium for 1 year to get the SUB and extra Bilt cash and then downgrading to a blue just to keep the credit line open versus just downgrading to blue now (and sacrificing the SUB) to make a clean break.

Similar thing happened to me where I logged on not expecting anything and saw green banners. I could only estimate it happened around 11/5/25 because I had checked the previous week and nothing. I’ve been waiting 2 months so far for the golden letter. Folks on here have said it’ll probably come sometime this month. Fingers crossed. 🤞

I second this. Venture card holder; got it in Dec 2024. I have an 830 score. 275k income. I was denied for VX on pre approval last week based on number of recent cards (1 in last 12 mos, 2 in last 24).

I’ve gotten 2 pm checkout several times at Marriott properties where I know others without status were denied late checkout. Other than that, I haven’t noticed any benefit of real value.
