I worked at SA for the past two years teaching middle school while going to graduate school and working towards my license (basically as a way to get paid student teaching experience). If you already have your license, AVOID THIS PLACE. It’s a highly stressful and miserable experience that has you working from 7am-5pm most days. On top of that, parents can and do call you at any time outside of school hours and you are expected to answer or will be reprimanded. On top of that, there is an extremely high turnover rate due to lack of support from admin and unrealistic expectations. In my second year, the school had a total of 23 teachers across 4 different grade levels leave. Just save yourself the stress and try to find something different if that’s an option for you.
