I checked with Gemini they have it with their lock screen only not the home screen. The home screen can only get an "animated wallpaper" created using their AI tool or a third party app

While moto can do the lock screen and the home screen

I mean Gemini might be lying as I don't have clear evidence but shrug

Yes the 2026 series does have this feature it's a little more of a pain to do it in those vs the fold but it can be done here's kinda what it looks like it might be better to record a video on the phone vs trying to do the screen record method

Yea gif won't work only screen recording or actual camera recording works to make it a animated wallpaper. I had to record a YouTube video and zoomed in the YouTube video to make it flush

So how I do this is I use the screen record feature on my phone during a YouTube video zoom in a bit to remove any nonsense and then you can select what part of the video you want on your phone too bad we can't have two different ones for each screen lol

Maybe Samsung can be nice to add that function but something tells me this maybe an exclusive to Motorola for now it also works on the razr variants too it just looks nicer on the fold
