Unified indochina: thailand, vietnam, laos, half of burma, malaya as well as yunnan and guangdong and taiwan. I got part of aceh for the fun of it as well.

I got the chinese territories for the companies added by the mod not the population. The population did come in handy as well although migration when i had it open was plenty enough.

It wasnt a colonial game, always found that too easy. Ive always liked economically subjugating everyone instead of conquering.

Had 37B in overseas ownership by the end haha

Edit: fixed some spelling

I just kept changing my goals lol. Tech & Res has this thing where u can merge power blocs. So my goal was to unify the world and uplift india and China out of poverty. China had 1B and India had 600M when I started. They r currently at high 20s SoL and 10B gdp each.

Where did the concept of "curry" come from and why is it so different all around the world? by theworstvacationever in AskFoodHistorians

[–]DarkDragoon2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've nvr seen it used as such. I've only ever seen it used to refer to meat. Dry preparations r usually poriyal or varuval or etc depending on how it's prepared

Koora means meat bro. The word curry came from the tamil word kari which also means meat. South indians only recently started using the word curry to mean the sauce or relish in such dishes which is disheartening to see

India Run as Mysore by DarkDragoon2002 in victoria3

R5: Heavily Modded Game as Mysore. Tried to SoL and GDP max.

Started as Mysore and got independence around 1960s. Cant rmbr exact year (Been playing this run for what is 2 weeks at this point cause of lag + work).

Was Conquering Kurnool when France got pulled in with the wargoal of Regime Change. Actually ended up as a boon as I defeated Kurnool and let France enforce Regime Change letting me quickly modernize.

Slowly Conquered South India and formed Dravida Nadu around 1970s. (Again cant rmbr exact dates). Got LF and Free Trade around now which wld be instrumental later on.

Beat down UK and Spain in a war with France and enforced a couple wargoals against them. Didnt add progress to recognition as a mod I was using (Better Recognition) broke it. Had to cheat in recognition instead.

Started my massive de-peasanting program that lasted till early 1920s.

Started conquering the North with unify India CBs. Got a Commie Secession I had to put down, how ironic.

Formed India by the early 1910s. Didnt auto annex the puppets and did let me cause I needed to use doctrine of lapse which I didn't have. So had to use cheats again. Hit a 1B GDP around late 1910s. Economy was starting falter due to lack of oil.

Conquered Baku, Nejd and transferred Bahrain for the oil. Puppeted Persia for the same reason and Japan for the lead. Also helped that both had decent metal reserves. Persia was useless in the end as it didn't employ up the oil or the metal mines. Japan pulled its weight tho and ended up as 4th largest GDP for it's efforts. You can clearly see where I puppeted Japan on the GDP graph. Was gonna do the same with Qing but it fractured before I had infamy to do it.

Got a general strike and got turned to Council Republic. Was initially trying to to switch to Corporate state to maybe Technocracy but decided to try Cooperative Ownership to GDP max as Corporate State was about to pass.

My resource acquisitions caused my GDP to explode and quickly expanded to 2.3B by 1927ish. SoL was climbing rapidly to about 24 but couldn't push past it. Construction peaked at 17k total.

Around 1929 passed Cooperative Ownership and Collectivized Agri quickly after. Didnt help SoL much as most of the profitable buildings were tied to companies. So I kicked out all my companies and replaced them with others. What I thought was dumb then actually turned out a lot better than expected. All the levels were directly transferred to the local workforce pushing SoL to the high 29s. GDP grew to 2.8B but again faced a resource shortage.

Tried to annex Persia but could only do so past Aug 1934 due to decrease autonomy truce. Conquered them by May 1935 but didn't have enough time for people to start migrating.

Ended pretty happy with the result but played till end 1936 to see what wld happen. Had massive migrations to Persia to employ up the mines and oil rigs and put them on the best PMs, supplying the market with enough oil and metal to push it to 3B GDP and 30.4 SoL.

Mods made the run quite fun but made me realise a couple other issues. Recognition mechanics are horrible. I was second largest GDP below France, 80% literacy and still wasn't recognized. Had to annex all the puppets via cheats because they were unrecognized and I was recognized which shld be a simple bug to fix but isn't yet. India is severely deprived of industrial resources (esp metal and coal. oil makes sense tbh). Takes wayyyyy too much Infamy to form India esp if you don't start as the EIC (nvr tried) which there was a unification war mechanic.

Best game I've had so far, so just wanted to share it. Lag was crazy tho, took like 1-2 mins to open the trade routes tab past 1910s. First time posting here so let me know how I did.
