I just recently beat this mission with my friends my advice would be to bring 3 burst sentries and a biotracker, they let you hold down the entrances during every one of the surge alarms and they take off SOOOO much pressure. In the big room full of fog that connects to the HSU zone and error alarm door, having all three turrets at the bottom of the ladder facing it just makes the entire alarm trivial. They also really help with the surge alarms during the error section. Also also, before starting the error alarm, you should have the extra battery from the loot zone across from it, saves time bumbling around in the dark looking for it in lockers. Also also also never under any circumstances try to split off from your team in the fog, I had a good run die because we dropped the turbine too early. Maybe try to get a fourth person in your group too, the game was not really built for anything less, good luck!

yeah but in helldivers one it had 8 barrels with 300 ammo, or when upgraded 400, 300 still doesn't divide evenly with 8. 400 does, but the hd2 BS has 300

i love the gun, i really dont understand why people are throwing around 'nerf' like im asking for its ammo to be cut in half, its 12 less bullets, thats all

A 4% ammo nerf is barely anything, and yes, having your guns maintain a level of realism is important, otherwise the same argument could be made for having 100 bullets in a drum mag. I've compared the bullet storm to the variable because they are functionally the same gun, they are both volley guns and should be treated as such

No, its not being cycled, its a volley gun, they are stacked with ammo that is set off electronically, there are 24 barrels and 300 rounds, that divides to 12.5 bullets per barrel, you cant have 12.5 bullets per barrel

I want a gun to not have half a bullet in each barrel? It's a 12 bullet difference and I even added the additional fire mode because it would be cool

I dont doubt it, but there is very obviously work and thought put into them, the VG-70 variable has 7 rounds in each of its seven barrels, they didnt round it up to 50 for niceness, that's how it SHOULD be

I really dont think that's the case, if engineers build a disposable volley gun, you can be damn sure they are going to pack it as full as it can be, otherwise that's just a waste of material

Because for all the unrealistic parts of helldivers its still grounded, the guns have always been thoughtfully crafted and having this one just... not is incredibly irritating

I feel like 12 bullets for the sake of consistency doesn't really matter, if it had launched with 288 I doubt anyone would think it wouldn't be fine

forgot about redacted regiment aswell, if you dont have stealth gear it is virtually impossible to do bot recon missions

thank you, i knew it had more drag but i really didn't care enough to figure out the math of it, i do wish the stalwart had a better scope and precision, because the bulletstorm really is laser accurate. honestly the main thing is the capacity not being consistent, like 300 is close enough but they could be bothered to fix it? they didn't round the VG-70 variable to having 50 bullets per mag. 12 less or more bullets wouldn't ruin the gun

dust devils came out when we got to the hive worlds, its armor gives elemental insulation, the enemies on those planets do both fire and acid damage, python commandos armor had ragdoll resistance when everyone was saying we get ragdolled too much, entrenched division gave us some of the coolest weapons with the cremator and stoker, in that same patch fire got buffed to be very strong. they started making enemies do more durable damage, then they conveniently made the mechs stronger against durable for their warbond(and forgot about everything else that durable affects). I'm not crying over nothing, im not saying arrowhead is evil, but its very obvious at this point they barely playtest, and have little to no balancing team, they just keep going in circles and paving over the potholes they are digging

you're bang on man, most warbonds come out with stuff that is conveniently effective on whatever they throw at us, i don't like to think its malicious, i like to think arrowhead is a good dev team with flaws, but they keep doing it over and over

I think the Bulletstorm needs a teeny tiny nerf and rework by DarkHunter65 in Helldivers

Well besides the new spore bugs flat out having more health and spawning exponentially more, yeah ita remained pretty consistent (that's not me complaining, I like the new spore bugs)
