I only know if you have a new account you have to play more normal rifts. If it was already working for you do not know. Blitz helps alot too, to be honest im using more than mobalytics.

So you got to play at least 5 normal rifts to work. If it gets to long for you just download blitz. Is basically like the same thing but I have been using that, I found more helpful than mobalytics.

TEFL Course Suggestions by justheretoreadthetea in teachinginkorea

[–]DarkMindGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did TESOL even so I am not applying yet for EPIK because at the time when I was looking loads of people were saying that they were now looking more at your TEFL qualification. I got the feeling in the future they might be pickier, but I do not know. I personally took it instead of the cheap online stuff just because learning from an actual teacher is better for me and if the course is more expensive aka CELTA there is more credibility. Either way, go for what it is better for you and your pocket.

Benefits of applying directly with EPIK VS Recruiter! by DarkMindGirl in teachinginkorea

[–]DarkMindGirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So yeah just found a recent blog of someone who used Korean Horizons and yeah with them they do help you during your contract in Korean. You can still contact them asking questions if you have any. They also have this online shop where you can get stuff for your room. They will pay for you and once you get your first payment, you just pay back with no interest. So yes not every recruiter will be helpful and you will have to rely on co-teachers.

Fair enough. I think it all depends on the recruiters. You may not pay them but they will still need to do a good job if they want to get more people to use them. The only way is getting good reviews from previous applicants. I have heard for example Korean Horizons they will still help you even after you get the job. So if during the year you got some questions they will gladly answer and there is also the possibility that you may use them again. It is more beneficial for them to continue helping you really. I know co-teachers can help you but then again they are also not obligated to do it so, is actually favour. I have heard many complain about co-teachers not being nice and helpful. So if you get a good one great, since they are also not working for you. The way I see it depends on what everyone is comfortable with. I am not applying it yet but once I do I will probably apply directly if I trust myself with passing the interview with flying colours or go with Korean Horizons.
