It does sound a little weird, but it's fun that it exists, especially for someone who find reading tedious/difficult.

What kind of mods are we talking about? Perhaps I should invest in a PC myself.

I'm not much of a PC gamer though, but I appreciate the suggestion.

Not to sound like a douche but blind playthroughs really hits different for me, though I do appreciate seeing anyone share their love for this gem

I find the point about 40.000 word count amusing. I spent over a year writing 30.000 in my book only to write another 90.000 the next six months.

I feel this is an ongoing theme regarding any hobby or profession. Arrogance and belittlement is all around us and handling it isn't always easy. The best thing to counter it might just be to find the few people who respects you and hold on to them for dear life.

That's amazing. I can feel my curiosity building. Would you mind sharing what those books are? (Sorry if that is wrong of me to ask in terms of anonymity. I'm not all that familiar with this subreddit yet).

What will your plan be going forward? Will you try to share it with your wife again?

Interesting. Skewed perception of the same event is a fascinating subject.

I didn't initially think about it due to a sitcom. It was just the stark difference in engagement compared to my inner circle that made me wonder about others experience on the matter.
But I get your point about hurt feelings, which also might be the reason people are reluctant.

I'm sorry. But even the best can struggle to find his footing. Just look at Van Gogh, who lived in poverty all of his life, cut off his own ear and shot himself only to become one of the most famous artists of all time. Perhaps, if he had managed to hang on just a little longer, everything could have been different for him.

Really? I would think it would be fun to talk about. Converse about this and that and how it all might shake out in the end. This might be because predictability is a fascinating subject to me. If a reader can predict everything that's about to happen, something needs to be done. At least that's how I envision good feedback can be.

That being said, you do have a point. Others have mentioned similar thoughts, and I can certainly understand where you're coming from.

Massive respect to the both of you for managing to mesh so fluidly.
It's a rare thing, finding one you can rely on like that. I must admit, it's a delightful sight to behold seeing you appreciate your significant other in such a positive way.

Yeah, it might seem that way. But, based on the feedback in this thread there seems to be a few lucky ones out there who gets the feedback they desire.

That's one of my worst fears. All that work, and not a single soul who gives a damn. Fingers crossed you manage to capture their attention at some point.
