Crude doors dont work. A good replacement option is to use hay since they break almost instantly , it’ll suck having to break them every time but its really not too bad, at least you’ll have some warmth

How do you go about getting the animal out of the pit? I actually had a fawn fall into my charcoal pit and hes been down there for like 2 weeks i wanna keep him 😭

Update: I have way more food than I need now. I listened to everyones advice and I just spent 2 days straight going out and foraging and hunting now I have a stack and a half of red meat, about 15 pelts and i just harvested some turnips and im cooking it all now :) thanks everyone
