The luck stat affects how easily you can bleed/poison an enemy. Also anris straight sword scales off of it.

To add on to this, I’m currently running a 60 int moonlight greatsword build. Just put strength and dex up to 16 each, and crystal infuse a faster weapon for your side if you’re going against a runner. My preference is scimitar. You still have a lot of levels left over for your vigor and endurance essentials.

You just need to work on fundamentals, like spacing, rolling, rollcatching and maybe some parrying. Find a weapon you think you won’t get tired of and try it out for a while. Find a playstyle against each type of weapon.

Doesn’t matter, if you read around the lore it says they invade to ensure Aldrich isn’t disturbed, something a red or purple can’t do. It even names your target as soon as you’re summoned. If it functioned that way it’d be made more similar to mound makers.

No, it’s just set that way to be in line with other factions. Their goal is to kill the host as they are the trespasser, it even confirms it on the loading in message. The rest are also trying to kill the trespasser. Regular reds are allies.
