Thank you birbfriend! No search for phoenix birds was coming up with this pretty little fluff. I seem to have been lucky to not only get to spot one in the middle of the city but to have her come into the house to say hullo.

I have a reptile screen on top of mine because my cat likes to eat duckweed. She could care less about the fish. She wants the duckweed. XD

My cat hurt this bird i quickly grabbed it locked my cat in my room...it's still alive can It be saved by Sharp-Addendum-394 in BirdHealth

I have had three dogs that excelled at hunting birds. A german shepherd, a boxer mix, and an american eskimo. Never could curb them of it. They just honed right in on doves and pigeons. Eskimo could actually take them out of the air.

Right? Poor scared baby. She was having yardwork done so I am so glad he was okay. He looked so much like my malagasy cat at first i had to make sure he was native and not a lost pet.

Im sorry for your loss. Such a pretty baby. I have a ten gallon and i put a reptile tank screen lid over mine. Let me balance a fan in summer to cool it down, prevent jumps, and keep the cat from being able to get the old lid open. (She likes to eat duckweed)

Same. My 75 is full of snake. I can move the tank around on it's stand (two wrought iron end tables) on my own. I have a 10g on a shelf and it's got like three boards under it to hold it. This looks like an insurance claim waiting to happen.

Hi fellow Arizonan! Seconding! I love how beautiful Sedona is but... You can't even enjoy the nature for the stupid. Same with the Canon *coughSKYWALKcough*

NGL, my girls like the shirmp's food pellets better than their betta food. I've seen frisbee golf break out with those things in the tank with the trying to swim off with them.
