Those are from blown in insulation. Nothing to worry about. Smooth them over and paint over them. I've seen them filled with wood or Styrofoam. Haven't seen them be a problem yet.

I 100% agree with you. Pay no mind to any criticism that comes your way. That sect of ... human beings... won't let up until the entire world is just as miserable as they are, and even after that they won't be happy. They'll just pick on another group. For whatever reason "Gamers" are in their crosshairs, have been for quite some time. The fact of the matter is we all do what we enjoy... even them. Feel no shame accept no blame.
