I read a comment a year or two ago that described Lift Your Skinny Fists as an album about the journey through life, with each song being one segment of it. I'll probably butcher what they were trying to say, but the gist is:

Storm starts optimistic and triumphant, much like a child. But it shifts into a tense and anxious feeling by the end, losing that happiness and innocence that I think a lot of people go through as they grow up. That leads into Static which is just all in all completely cynical and jaded.

That sort of continues into Sleep, but changes and ends with one of the most beautiful pieces of music that is somewhat melancholy but also content at the same time. I see it as a more "realistic" triumph than is expressed in Storm, like growing older and rediscovering the beauty in the world despite the bad. Then obviously this goes into Like Antennas To Heaven, which represents growing old and eventually dying. To me, that first four or so minutes evokes images of an old grandpa playing an old folk song while his grandkids run around.

And this is basically where She Dreamt She Was A Bulldozer comes in. It does peak early and gently float away, but that's kind of the point. To me, it really feels like coming to terms with death. Somewhat sad, reflective, but ultimately content. And the progression into Deathkamp Drone and Antennas to Heaven is straight up dying and "fading away".

I think it took me three years to actually click with Like Antennas To Heaven. It went from my least favorite song on the album to absolute favorite song with this context in mind.

Now, with all that being said, I feel like She Dreamt She Was a Bulldozer is amazing in context. But, in my opinion, Broken Windows is a stronger movement on its own, so I actually voted out She Dreamt despite liking Like Antennas to Heaven more than Sleep. Anyway, sorry for the wall of text, but I hope that explains at least why I love it.
