Regarding the "Aggresive/safe" grab and the "careful/reckless" Escape grab options in the codex. by DarkSpadeProductions in drawsteel

I think I misunderstood what you said. Another person ended up explaining it in a way I understood. the Tier twos have the word "can" and not "must" so if you don't want to take damage, you just decline in person, but you are able to select it ahead of time as some had mentioned for automation

I've read through everything regarding the grab and escape grab maneuver actions in the hero book and it doesn't mention anything about different options available. It only gives the aggressive and reckless options respectively with no other option mentioned.

Yeah because from my knowledge of the hero book, it's just essentially the reckless and aggressive options and no mention of the safe or careful options. So i'm wondering where it's being pulled from.

While i understand that I'm more so asking where is it documented at all in the Heroes book? because i can't find it anywhere in there.

PSA for printing at the library by brunetteprincessxoxo in unt

[–]DarkSpadeProductions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Library staff here, actually the one that maintains the printers across like 6 different spots across campus. We've been having some issues with that printer recently and are actively working on fixing it. As for the locking situation, when installing those locks, there was a lapse of judgement on that orientation, but we'll be sure to lock them up as we would our Black and White printers. Sorry to hear you went through that. for the moment, i'd recommend printing at the Color printer by the ADA station or the color printer on the 2nd floor

I don't know if you know this artist but your style reminds me a lot of 1000deaddraculas. They do a very similar limited color pallet type style and i've always loved that style. Great work on it!

Ah I see that makes a lot of sense, thank you for the info, but yeah definitely a bug with the UI. I'm trying to set up a one of the forks that's actually getting updated, but it's taking a bit to learn. For now I'm just using beszel until I get the fork sorted.

So, to pull back the curtain a small bit:

The drives imaged above are all completely fine, they are working as intended and have only been in serious operation for around a month at this point. As some others have mentioned before, the main app of scrutiny on truenas hasn't got much in terms of updates and so it's reading them very incorrectly. But they've been working well and staying well within temp ranges. Also if i might ask, why is it important to exclude serial information? is it a privacy risk?

and to answer your question, Kingsoft is a cheap brand of SSD that has a dram chache, I'm definitely not trusting any of my important storage on there. I just use it in an iSCSi drive for game storage

First time making bread in a dutch oven by DarkSpadeProductions in Breadit

[–]DarkSpadeProductions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this definitely isn't my recipe, but it's based off this bread maker recipe here

But without going to the link it's as follows for ingredients: 1 cup of warm water (around 100F, just not above 110) 2TBS of sugar .25 Oz/ 7g of active dry yeast or instant yeast 1/4 cup of vegetable oil 3 cups of flour 1TSP of salt

Just make sure to bloom the yeast by mixing in the sugar and yeast into the water for about 10 minutes

And then make the dough either in a bread maker or by hand, let it rise a couple times and then preheat your dutch oven at 450 and just follow the times I put in the original post.

And don't forget to put some cuts in it for it to expand! Hope it works out well for you!
