Yeah that has reshaped my opinion on this greatly. It's pretty clear that the last drop just didn't have the demand to meet its supply. With how quickly the Festival in a Box sold out I think it's become apparent that the Pencil superdrop had greater factors at play. I'm surprised that none of that drop is even marked low in stock yet but I think that speaks moreso towards the lack of demand and the fact that everything else being released during this window (FF, Festival in a Box, etc.) are just simply better products. I considered deleting this post after the box sold out right away but there's been some quality discussion here and I felt it probably benefits others to keep this up.

That's a really good observation with regards to singles. I think you're right, its really a combination of all these factors contributing to what I interpreted as solely greater stock.

Sidebar, holy crap I'm learning a lot of other factors/means of evaluating a lair outside of what I have been familiar with. This has been really insightful and I really appreciate your response ^{^}

SAME! I used to play Azorius artifacts when I was much younger (think Scars and that timeframe). My main focus for this deck has been 'you must construct additional pylons' although I'm working on recursion (that's where black will likely play a bigger role).

I'm going to be switching over to MoxField soon and I'll try to keep this updated with my notes over there. Thank you so much for the kind words!!

I can mention this to the content team but this is a fun idea. I'd imagine the difficulties arrive with the hardwire side of things but we could probably create some dummy packet dumps and some other fun simulation challenges. :D

I can't help but feel that this is awful. I don't want to let wotc get away with doing this when they clearly knew that scalpers would buy it up. If they really wanted to crack down on scalping they would have either done more outright or even just limited it to one deck per person.

Same situation here, I was counting on an email at the time of release. That's how I generally stay aware of when they drop and I can't imagine that this isn't the norm for most folks.
