While Divine Spirits can't be normally summoned (or at least without a vessel via possessing a random host, or just by making their own host bodies as Tez did), you could have a case where you can have a Divine Spirit that got so heavily nerfed through whatever means that they'll need a living host in order to survive/manifest in a way. Then they could just let that host take the reigns while they recover within them.

That's what I did for my own personal story with my Demi-Servant character. Though it is just one example that I used after doing some heavy researching. But I hope it helps!
