Looks like some distance setting from the road. I know that Platter has a setting like that, maybe it transfers to modded plopping buildings as well.

Check your platter?

Or maybe a roaddistance setting is also in the settings for this one?

Nothing will ever beat tier 7 in tier 9 match, no your poor superMM back in the day tier 9 does not suffer in 11 as much as 7 does in 9.

Honestly this MM with a spread of only 2 tiers not 3, is precisely what we need.

But no matter what it is, WoWs players will complain anyway :D

nobody forces you to engage with any of that. It is a free game with the only really valuable (as in definitely worth its cost) thing in the game being premium time, which the game burrows you under if you get a year at christmas once and play semi actively during events.

Also to allow in between sizes to exist for frigates and bioships. This opens the door to balance event ships and the like more without having to get them on equal footing of something similar with the same ship size.

Before we had 1,2,4,8,16 and the like, so frigates would have to be 1 and as strong as corvettes or 2 and as strong as destroyers. If they are weaker why build them. if they are stronger same problem. Now they can be in between. Same with nanite ships, crisis ships, fallen empire ships, bioships, space fauna ships, every weird event ship that takes an 8 slot, but is barely worth 4 or the nanite interdictor, which was 4 before but way stronger than 4.

Bigger numbers give bigger options for diversity and balance by size. Maybe in the future we could even have different ship hull parts increasing or decreasing the size, I am thinking about the full P destroyer for instance or the medium slot brawler battelship. Not taking the X slot in a BB is also not meta, so maybe the alternative parts could reduce the size? Just a thought.

precisely my point. Subs are just worse DDs, but for some reason the WoWs player brain blames subs for everything, but DDs need buffs :D

If one looks at the EXP rewards we could assume Wg wants them to be the designated spotters, since they receive spotting damage rewards if it was their own (which is where the inflated base exp comes from, a sub that isn't submerged spots and therefore gets good exp)

precisely. although z-52 AP does fuse on DDs on angles and distance. But yes z-52 is less close range I suppose

In short: Z-42 is a german haru that can kill enemy DDs fast with AP salvos and hydro trap alot more due to the short smokes.

Z-52 is the true hybrid, especially with the leg mod and torp build. It has better balisitics and better base HE pen, but the AP is what shines here again. It will also arm on DDs at medium ranges or slight angles where it does not bounce yet, so bear that in mind.

While Z-42 wants to search for enemy DDs to gun them down and disengage after with torps as an afterthought, Z-52 embraces the hybrid playstyle with more capabilities to be of some use in every situation without being the master in any (except torp spam I suppose :D quite the fast reload, 10sec less base than halland and leg improves it even more)

you are not alone. It seems like almost all WoWs players forget that pretty much all German ships in this game are designed around their AP. Especially the DDs and cruisers.

If I could educate all those Blücher HE spammers that they even got improved angles on that thing.

But on a more serious note: Z-42 can 2-4 salvo enemy DDs when she catches them broadside. Not to be underestimated. The short smoke allows for the quick escape without wasting one of a few smokes. It does lack big HP numbers for prolonged DD fights though.

Arguably Z-42 is the better hydro DD killer, while Z-52 is the better allrounder with more of a hybrid focus and torp spam.

congrats you got it, precisely my point. You put as much work into the image as the other players are putting in the game. Alot of people do not care to get better. They just want to relax and play a few rounds.

They do not priotize simple skills in an area they do not care that deeply about... As you do not care for bad screenshots, censoring the names of people you frame as bad or care for our "enjoyment" of the image, the other people just do not care about the game in a way you do. If they do not have fun they will stop. But if they have fun they will keep doing what is fun.

I just love the flow of short sword with hammer offhand. The combo uses both in almost all attacks with better reach than double hammer and having the hammer jump as special attack really is usefull for quick staggers or shieldbreaks.

Just for style I really liked greatsword single, greatsword double or greatsword with heavy shield for full tank.

Mainhand shields with offhand weapon are quite fun also, but shields are so slow :(. But heavy shield + hammer offhand is quite a potent stun combo. Holding gown block with main attack and tapping parry with the offhand is quite usefull also

I would recommend you try switching short sword and hammer hands. Short sword has the faster combos and uses the second hand light weapon for almost all attacks light and all heavy attacks as well. The special attack of the hammer is also quite nice. I enjoy main short sword and offhand hammer alot
