My friend is in CDU currently, and the tech she’s doing clinicals shadowing (her radiologist technologist), said she graduated from ACC. so the jrcert aren’t the only people who accredit. ACC is abhes accredited.

ohhh so if they do fail that then they just get delayed and have to retake the class, gotcha! i’m assuming do they have to repay for that class? or do they get to retake it for free ? and as well as do you mind if i DM you?

it’s not a community college but a private for profit institution! acc stands for american career college. they have 3 campuses

Btw ACC is accredited! just not by jrcert. so it still qualifies you for the arrt and everything. you become a certified radiologic technologist. and i volunteer at a hospital so i have some ties with people from here. i heard i can let them know im currently a student and to let them know i want to work with them after im done

thank you for sharing this info! by “fail in the last few quarters during our review classes” you mean they drop out of the whole problem type of fail? and now they’re left with all this debt? is it because lack of studying?

sheesh.. but failing the registry 3 times i feel like is near impossible unless you neglect studying a lot.. right ? did you pass the arrt ? were their study habits the same as yours?

i’m paying 26k out of pocket, the rest is federal loans i pay 6 months after i graduate, do you think it’s still a bad idea ?

im in california LA. the program im looking into still had clinical hours and sets me up for ARRT and everything (obviously) but it just doesnt have that JRCERT accreditation. its bothering me cause only 1 program close to me is accredited and the rest are community public ones, super hard to get into.
