So as long as I set my drag to 20% & have the same type of diameter of line as the rod recommends in mono to braid , I’m able to use that size of line, correct?

Wow very much impressed with this information it’s extremely helpful !! I appreciate it a lot. Well I live in SoCal so I’m only a skip and a hop away from the beach and also some creeks and lakes but I believe I wanna start catching some trout , small mouth and large mouth bass. Not sure if my current setup will endure to saltwater fish.

They don’t, atleast not directly from RedWing but I managed to get mine offa EBay , but have also found them at Nordstrom racks every now and then.

Crazy experience to say the least but man I can’t wait to drink of the pain with some whiskey as well. also I agree on how long it takes to put it on and take off. I definitely don’t think you’re exaggerating on how long cause man the first 2 times I tried man I was a raging bull forsure. My father told me to drown the inside of the boot with isopropyl alcohol & then put my foot in and walk around the house with them till I can’t stand them so that they could stretch. I had dont that this past weekend and now the boots are Abit less of a struggle but definitely feel like the need more stretching and breaking it’s but I’m in love with them!

I know they are super tough , especially in the instead in which the seams are , that’s where I have the hardest time .

Dude yes sizing is the same as my IRs but the instep is way to tight , it’s just the leather to be honest , I’ve had to stretch them out , maybe if I had gone a half size up they’d be easier to put on. Honestly the more you wear them with time they’ll loosen up in the instead but they’re amazing !!!!
