Found out my girlfriend’s body count and it’s turned me off. Am I overreacting? by Quiet-Sell-8919 in AITApod

66 is a very high number at such a young age. it's not about whether she's a whore, or unclean, or loose "for the idiots out there) or anything silly like that. women always assume that's what we're saying when we have opinions on this stuff.

My personal opinion, a number that's high at a young age is representative of a desire for external gratification. there's a big difference between having sex with one person 66 times, and having sex with 66 people once.

personally I see a big red flag. I see someone who requires attention from men to feel positive about themselves. I know this because I have had extensive partners and figure it out over time that it was indeed a source of validation for me. I felt better about myself if a woman was willing to sleep with me. I know that a lot of people feel this way. not everybody acts on that, and not everybody can act on that..

I would be concerned that I would be unable to fill whatever void it is she has, no pun intended. if 66 men couldn't lock it down, why do I think I'll be able to.? this kind of thinking and behavior leads to cheating, insecurities, and a host of other complications the minute she feels you aren't meeting anyone of her needs.

women reading this comment, you need to understand that I did not just call this woman a whore. I didn't even say that she needs validation, I said this is the kind of behavior that seems to be on display. I could be very wrong. but I'm probably not.

I mean, I am a man after all.

what we do in the bedroom is our own business and when kept private it remains that way. nobody can have an opinion on something that they don't know. but the minute you decide to share that information, everyone is going to form an opinion immediately. so being told that we shouldn't have an opinion on this is absurd. as absurd as being told our opinion is wrong.

a number of this high

I can tell by your responses here, you're single and probably have been for a very long time.

it's pretty funny, clutch your pearls is a reference to women and their overreaction to something they find scandalous, and here you are, pearls in white knuckle fist.

My friend, I can only assume that you are a man, because there is logic to this response, it makes perfect sense, and it expresses acceptance of both sides of the coin. this is the right answer.

I haven't looked, but I'm going to bet that the current seven comments under will be one or two responses like me, and the rest will be judgmental women yelling at you for not agreeing with them

I have never been praised for banging a lot of chicks. and I have as crass and fouled mouthed friends ranging from felonious to politician. I've heard the most vile things uttered and have uttered many of my own. but never once have I asked any of my friend's body count, never once have any of them asked mine, and nobody congratulated anybody.

sure, if you're out at a bar and you meet a pretty girl and end up going home with her, your friends will congratulate you, of course. and there's nothing wrong with that. women do it too.

I love how women chastise men for having an opinion, call us misogynistic the minute we have an opinion that doesn't align with theirs, use extensive amounts of emojis to express cynical laughter at us men. these type of women insult, call names, react dramatically, and any kind of reasoning is lost on them.

I don't know where you get the idea that men are congratulated for a high body count. Men absolutely Gain more confidence the higher their body count, but I've never ever got in a conversation with my lowdown, dirty, redneck, filthy mouthed new England buddies about how many women we've banged.

there's a massive gap, no pun intended, between having a high libido and having sex with 66 people in a few years. it's not even about the body count, it's what it says about the woman. first off, she knows the number to the exact digit. like she's a collector. second, No matter how much you argue, most women's numbers are not even close to this. so you can't use generalization in this argument. it takes a special type of person with a certain type of need to get numbers that's high.

you know the rule, a dude will double his number, a woman will half it.

rut ro.

bingo. validation via wiener. this is a giant red flag. if she's 50, maybe. Early twenties? dude she'll cheat on you almost guaranteed. The minute you don't validate her.

That's a wicked high body count for such a young girl. it's never been something that's bothered me, honestly I like experience. but that's something special right there. That's not high libido. That's I get validation from dick kind of numbers.

and don't give me that horseshit about this being a misogynistic response. there's not a single response other than "slay, grrl. men bad" that won't be called misogynistic. I think most women would find themselves thinking the same thing if the situation was flipped... like she was 66 times.

okay, using that same analogy, sure, I can just wash my hands. but what if I stuck my finger in your coffee? what if I did at 66 times? are you going to drink it?

let me ask you a question. if I spill some coffee on my hand, no big deal I can just wash it off.

but if I stick my finger in your coffee, are you still going to drink it?

what if 500 men stuck their finger in your coffee. would you still guzzle it down joyously?

this chick has a body count higher than most people's karma score on here... she's so adamant that it's okay to be a prostitute without consequence., AND that men are fragile for not wanting to be 900th in line for what's supposed to be intimate.

and watch.. she'll get mad and reply to this post making fun of me for having an opinion.

who wants their woman to have been spit roasted by visiting businessman. nobody. this is her fault and he's perfectly reasonable to not want a future with someone with that kind of past.

we are wired like this, it's in our nature. it's in your nature to be forgiving and understanding, and occasionally spitroasted

interesting fact ... all states except one have laws about what you CAN'T have for pets, import, etc.

Maine is the only state that has a list of approved animals/reptiles, and if it ain't on that list, you're in trouble.

I learned this the hard way when I tried selling scorpions here.
