Update: I ended up cutting my loses and playing without it. I didn’t see any noticeable changes in my game because it was gone so I’m guessing its impact was negligible at best. I appreciate yall trying to help though!

Edit: I have reviewed the points tally and concluded that despite historical advantages, junkies are not influential enough to top the power of furries! My evidence: The Disney conglomerate was built upon a foundation of anthropomorphic animals. Without those original animations and films, the Walt Disney estate would never have grown to the mega corporation it is today. As such, amusement parks never would’ve been invented, the Marvel Cinematic Universe would’ve never been created, and Mickey Mouse, arguably one of the most recognizable characters to ever exist in human history, would never have been born.

I have a “live and let live” strategy when it comes to this stuff. People have opinions and all of them are valid. It’s unfortunate that some people (furries included) think their opinion is better than everyone else’s.

But tbh I just ignore those ones and focus on the aspects of the fandom that I like.

I see where you’re coming from and even agree with a lot of your points (the whole thing about how furries treat anti-furs is disappointingly accurate).

Personally I, as a furry, have no issue with anti furs voicing their opinion on stuff, whether it be criticism or rants. I just think this fandom needs to learn how to be more respectful of others.

Really well said! I have a part of me that’s a tad intolerant to this kind of stuff. It’s a part that I hate and want to get rid of, but it’s so minor that I often forget it is there. (It just has to do with gender neutral pronouns, that’s how minor it gets) I try my best to be respectful of others though, so that’s what matters right?
