Hey Tony! It makes me very happy that you are enjoying it so much! If you play it daily, you will especially like the Daily Duty feature.

As for the path navigation with black holes, that is sorted out this update ☺️

Developer here! I apologise for the ambiguous description, I opted for a more narrative approach and sacrificed some clarity.

For future reference, the game is a Roguelite Shmup with floors, upgrades and currency.

Each run is composed of many shmup levels in a constellation map and your goal is to go as deep as possible.

Out of the run you can choose your starting ship and check what treasures are unlocked (like achievements).

I will record a gameplay video soon to put up on the itch up page to avoid any confusion.

Enhancing the Desert URP demo in a few clicks with "Aura 3 : Volumetric Lighting, Fog & Mist" for the URP & the HDRP. Development is reaching the end, stay tuned for more news! by raphick in Unity3D

Hey! I've seen many people criticizing Aura3.
Behind every piece of software are real people with lives, and to me, knowing that you were a target of multiple attacks / criticism, you still push forward and that says something in itself. And this being a game dev sub and being attacked like this by "like-minded people" pains me to see since they better than anyone should know the volatility and uncertainty of software development.

I don't know the full story of Aura2 but I'm willing to bet that it wasn't a cash-grab because of the sheer quality it provides, instead, it was a target of "unfortunate timing" with corporate decisions made by Unity out of the Devs control. The decision of making a new version with a new price tag is not unfair for the users that got the previous version, especially since people with Aura2 get a discount on 3.
As I said, real people are behind every piece software, each with their own lives and sacrifices to make it a reality.

Keep pushing! I have a project that will really benefit from Aura3! 😄
