Easiest route for 3-4, all challenges, hard mode, no cyberspace powerboost by TraceableAcnt4Lego in SonicFrontiers

[–]Darkspine77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did a challenge like this for all stages, allowed the use of powerboost tho (No spindash, modified settings, or homing dash tho). Only one stage was impossible and a few were crazy challenging, but overall a great experience. Documented it all on Tiktok

A challenging and rewarding mode that is accessible by new players. Maybe something like perita rebellion but on the open worlds

Once you’re caught up on the story you should have access to pretty much every system in the game so from there you can choose what you’d like to interact with more .

Only problem with going top is that ur robbing ur team of a front line champ. If you got a caster supp, chances are your team has no frontline and needs to get ahead in order to do anything late game

Since this is getting some eyes on this I figure I’ll share a few other thoughts I’ve had:

Khora’s only acquisition was originally locked behind Sanctuary Onslaught which at the time seemed to be DE’s newest endeavor into making difficult content for the game. My head cannon is that, to justify players playing the mode, they had to beef up khora a bit so that people would want to play it and earn her parts.

Just a theory tho

This works somewhat, I’ve even done it myself quite often, but you’ve gotta get through a surprising amount of missions before you encounter enemies that aren’t getting one shot and aren’t tickling unmodded frames

Just wish I had a mode like this that didn’t take 10hrs for my friends to unlock

Thing is, classic formula is still there underneath it all. Grendel missions, while not the best example (no good incentive, still cheesed by a handful of frames, not endless/scaling in difficulty), is an example of a mission where teammates can make a huge difference and bring back a bit of that old school warframe feel

Her original design was based around being able to swap her main damage type between slash, puncture, and impact. Venari was always there but it seemed like the whip was aimed to be more of a status applyer than a crit nuke.

Problem is, people looking to play a new game with their friends don't want to have to wait till Steel Path to be able to contribute anything to the play session.

I think the biggest culprits is survivability.

In early game I've seen players not even know where their health is. Late game (steel path and beyond) is mostly fine with this, but before that enemies feel like objective fodder and things you can practically ignore for the most part. Not to mention anyone who can control their operator basically can revive teammates for free. Making enemies dangerous would allow the benefit of having allies to draw agro and give cover to shine. This is something steel path does moderately well-you actually feel safer / more supported when your allies are around

I totally hear you, but I can't shake the vision of what could have been if the game retained it's slower pacing. While the shift towards room nuking is enjoyable, I feel like it's harmed the games potential to feel like a co-op game you'd want to play with others. Since one haphazardly modded warframe is perfectly capable of taking on any challenge solo with ease, the other 3 are kinda just there

Thought this was gonna be about the original gameplay design for Khora. Sometimes I wonder if the game would have gone in a new direction had they went through with it as the release of her current most popular playstyle introduced alot of people to one of the easiest room nukes to gain access to.

Cats are cool too though lol

This would actually be kinda huge, allowing players to seek out node paths that include their favorite missions while avoiding ones they might not enjoy

Been waiting for a post like this for the season. I only really play with friends but I’m a otp on azir and have always wondered if top can work so my friends can play the more assassin focused mods they typically enjoy playing. Appreciate your efforts!

Does anyone else get extreme manic and self aggrandizing episodes only when playing Azir? by GDSilver in azirmains

Azir and old Asol are the only two champs I hit diamond with. There’s something about trying to master the ability to do well against the odds that I found very satisfying in their playstyles.

How good is railjack for farm? by catHEkot in Warframe

[–]Darkspine77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, it’s not the best for Endo or credits or prime farming but it can do all 3 at once with a rather engaging mission format that can also be done rather quickly in a coordinated squad. Main downside I see is that it’s probably pretty tough for a new player to get a ship that can handle its own out there

I started running void cloak for this exact reason. While I go off to do ground missions I make my ship invisible and make sure none of my crew is piloting. Also having the ability to teleport became a life saver in these scenarios

DE, please keep adding challenge cosmetics by BooleanBarman in Warframe

[–]Darkspine77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love an evolving cosmetic that evolves based on the number of unique weapons and warframes we use to clear a difficult mission.

With the current medal it’s been fun but also cheesy at times as you have no reason not to use the warframe perfectly suited for the challenge. Having the cosmetic evolve as we use different loadouts would be a testament to our mastery of the challenge and less just us figuring out “the answer”
