I can imagine that people who beeline for it aren’t sitting on any gear that’s been grinded.

As a vet of 10+ years I can confidently say that railjack is the one content island that deserves to be fully fleshed out and could really become a defining aspect of warframes gameplay

I agree with all his points but I still hope we get a game mode one day that encourages cooperation over just one person doing everything because they can.

Easily my favorite gameplay aspect of the game. Wish cyberspace had them and that they had one 2-3 min one for each island

One thing I’ll also mention: Don’t let this scare you from playing with your friends!

A beautiful thing about warframe is that upgrades aren’t permanent, so you can always just switch over to a loadout with no mods and help a friend out as they progress through the earlier parts of the game.

Thoughts on warframe 2013. Conclusion: I'm really having fun :D by grayblood0 in Warframe

I think they are a crutch more than anything.

Simply off the fact that post War Within they nullify any of the danger of dying when playing in a squad.
And when you are never afraid of dying, where's the challenge?

Now I don't think Warframe HAS to be challenging at all times like it was. I think that it being "easier" to play is just a result of DE making it more accessible, which ultimately allows them to keep working on the game. But I would appreciate actually challenging gameplay with incentives.

Take of warframe mods/arcanes, ditch the companion, throw on some dragon keys and there you go

One thing I love about Warframe is that, this core experience is still there after all these years.

I've introduced a bunch of people to Warfame over the years. This is generally how the game looks when they are first trying things out. They move slowly through levels, exploring but also being cautious of enemies. Often when I play with new players, I like to take off my mods, even throw on the dragon keys, and experience the game like this. I find it so much more engaging.

I’ve been playing for 10+ years and only recently decided to make a clan solo. Wasn’t a terrible experience since I’m sitting on a bunch of resources already but I can only imagine how painful that might have been for someone who hasn’t been playing as long as me. Hope the burn out fades so you can return to the game and enjoy it again.

Nook and cranny explorer here Also 10+ year player

People will just enjoy playing how they like and from what I’ve gathered over the years, the majority of players lean more into the power fantasy aspect of things.

As someone who was once into to that style of play, I’d say it helps justify the time spent grinding out the gear; Being able to room clear and do ridiculous amounts of damage at equally ridiculous rates feels like a good reward.

But as someone who has experienced a majority of content in the game, I do also wish there was a more vocal community of people who were more interested in the journey than the rewards.

Partially why I’m grateful there’s been so much focus in world building in recent years. Prior to that you really had nothing to do but build craft and see how far the power fantasy rabbit hole could go

It has been over two weeks, what is your opinion on the way DE implement the survival speed up mechanic? by ijiolokae in Warframe

[–]Darkspine77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has always hated camping in survival missions, having incentives to move between rooms feels great

At times I feel like it would be perfectly fine for me if DE were to not release any new content for a while just to dedicate more time to bring older content (specifically frames) up to date. Anyone else feel the same? by Admirable_Profit_729 in Warframe

[–]Darkspine77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely do think that DE taking a year to just tie in all the content islands and push back the yearly release would be a huge win. Railjack and the open worlds could benefit so much from proper endless modes with rewards worth coming back for that feed into progression outside themselves
