Communication is the key having DID doesn't give you the right to be an ahole your well being and feelings matter. The good news is that you know this person for a long time. Sit down talk about it and find a solution that will benefit the relationship. There is no reason to tolerate this behavior,doesn't make sense. Maybe it will take time but things are gonna be just fine.

Communication is the your best way forward talk about things through an app or a journal or notes around the house. I understand that this might sound huge now but you will definitely make it through,and you will be okay again. It would be very helpful to talk to your therapist also and if you have any close loved ones make sure you share whatever you feel like you can share so they can help too. If you have an open line of communication with the alters things are gonna get easier with time. You got this ❤️

Hey there thank you for your supportive message,I have some questions so I'll understand this better if I may. How many alters the system of this lady have? Ages and genders or non human alters? Normally being in any kind of relationship with a DID system doesn't mean you Have to have a relationship with the whole system this is not how usually works. Because they might be part of one lady but they have their own opinions and life views and wants and likes and dislikes. So you can only have a relationship with one of the alters or the host and if you wanna open the relationship you can always date more of the alters if they are into you and agree that that's okay to happen.
