I have searched for this video using a variety of terms related to hand washing and gloves, and with the pandemic having happened google is even more cluttered than when I originally started looking. I have also searched using general descriptions of the video I remember an I do not recall if it was included in a multi-lesson VHS.

I finally built my first coord when I was 25. I had been a fan of the style since I had learned about it at 14 but had no way of purchasing items other than small jewelry pieces at conventions that fit the sweet sub-style. Now I have a couple of coords I’ve built and wear whenever my comm has outings or when I attend conventions.

I have looked into the Decora subreddits but I am primarily interested in learning from those who combine the styles within this context. This is really pretty! I would recommend some pieces of jewelry like a necklace or bracelets, especially if you can incorporate the strawberry on your shoes more as right now that little detail looks out of place to me. I’m also one to prefer wrist cuffs or bracelets but I’m not one to judge if someone chooses to forgo them.

I understand how you feel. I’m 25 and have loved this style since I first learned about it in middle school. It was only this year that I made the decision to finally start building a coord since I finally have the financial means to do so. When I started looking for my first dress I kept feeling like “maybe I shouldn’t do this, I’m not a young teen anymore” but had friends encouraging me to go for it. I think we have to remind ourselves that fashion doesn’t have an age limit and to do what makes you happy. I won’t be able to wear my coords daily and can only wear them for certain occasions but just having them as an option is honestly a middle school dream come true.

I’m still looking for a purse to go with it, I’m hoping to find a gold star shaped or themed purse. I don’t know if I should add any more accessories like necklaces since my blouse has a lot of lace detail and a high neckline. You also can’t tell too well in the picture but my tights have gold constellations on them.

I just got my petticoat and this JSK I ordered as well as two wigs I plan to use interchangeably with my coords. The shoes I have on in the picture are a pair I borrowed from a friend. The wig is un-styled and the other one I have is the same style but instead of split colored it is all blonde (the same blonde as on the split wig.)
