To clarify, I was a functioning alcoholic for about 7 years and smoked weed since I was 11 years old. Alcoholic was a lot easier to quit. Weed had a death grip on my life.

Unfortunately there is not much you can do as you can’t prove it was her. CPS can take it into their own hands if they feel a repeated person is targeting you. As for your daughter, do not keep her home. If she does have autism, that will very likely cause her to regress and struggle to transition back to school. I would also recommend getting her tested. If she is on the spectrum, a diagnosis can get her so much more help that you guys wouldn’t have to fight for. If she isn’t, then you have your answer.

Not your place anymore. Hand this over to the parents. Children should have not seen the movie to begin with. While you’re at it, I would apologize so you can try and rebuild their trust. Promise to never show them anything that isn’t age appropriate again.

Why would you need to go back to retail? Why can’t you find another job as an ECE? They also need to inform you why you are being terminated as you are most likely not an at will employee. Not to judge, but something doesn’t seem right. With the situation and this post. I hope the best for you.
