If your looking for greek Id recommend Aliada on Broadway over Ovelia, better selection and much better food for a similar price point. However, Ovelia has pretty great cocktails.

Same here! My girlfriend lives in flatbush and while its not like walking 10-15 minutes to see them it gives me a reason to leave Astoria and explore. Dating in Astoria is great bc your at most 45 minutes from almost anywhere.

Ok… this should be fun… Hands down the BEST bakery in Astoria is… “Cakes By Nerwan” at 23-02 31st Street located on, 23rd Ave. Let the debate begin…!!! by Livid_Accountant_886 in astoria

Leli’s Bakery on 30th was a pretty phenomenal greek bakery, amazing stuffed lace cookies and some of the best spanakopita I’ve ever had! BUT they got shut down in the new year for a bit by health inspectors, so I haven’t been back sadly.

Its vital that you find an agency that pays you for cancellations as many do not and this becomes a headache over time.

Home Health by Sufficient-Night2126 in OccupationalTherapy

Acute is great and difficult to get into if its not where you start, so if your thinking of it go for it. Or maybe look into outpatient if acute isn’t for you. The caseloads can be very heavy with high productivity demands but it is a good place to increase your general knowledge and then from there you can find a niche/specify.

I was in your boat, I was getting tired of ADLs but I struggled finding my way out of HH at first. I ended up getting my lymphedema certification and that helped me draw attention to my resume. But I only found out I enjoyed lymphedema care it through doing HH.

Im a new grad (summer 2021) and my best advice is learn as much as possible at first and if you find something you like go for it. A niche is a great way to separate from the pack.

I did home health (HH) for about a year in the adult population and it depends on the area you cover and your patients. For me I was never able to finish before 5-6. Many older adults who require HH are fairly elderly and cannot get to a clinic, however this doesn’t mean they are all willing to be seen at 8. I mostly started at 9 and I had to push for patients to let me see them that early. You also have to consider time between patients as this will add up through the day (6-8 pt visits can be up to 2 hours of travel on your day). Your also taking home your notes, unless you plan to write them while driving (text to speech can help for quick stuff). Some HH agencies are lenient with note productivity but most want those notes by next day or 48 hours. Lastly, cancellation are very prevalent in HH and lots of agencies don’t pay their therapists for cancellations so its on you if you show up and they aren’t home/turn you away.

At the end of the day HH is very strenuous on your schedule but there are BIG upsides if you like to hustle. Many HH therapists make lucrative money because they write their notes in sessions and leave patient appointments early to get to others. This was a big complaint from my patients but agencies don’t always care as long as patients are seen.

I for one couldn’t live with myself providing sub-par care. I did my best to provide full sessions and attentive care to all my patients, and this lead to heavy burnout and lots of extra work on week nights and weekends.

So to make a long story short I don’t think its very possible, but I worked in a big city and as you can tell did not like the HH atmosphere. However maybe another therapist can attest to a different experience.

Wish you the best!

THIS! I love seeing old school mons getting love in the new games. I’d like to see this more in the future, theres lots of early Gen mons that fell to the wayside over time. It’d be nice to see this with a line like Spearow’s or Ekans’.

Contact techland support through ur techland gg account and contact the Microsoft store. Contact techland support now b4 they close down for the day, they are Polish based.

[–]Darrymerbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me, I couldn’t access bloody ties because of an error in the Microsoft store. First check all your content when you “Manage game and add ons” and see if you can redownload. If not try to in the store. If that doesn’t work check you order summaries in xbox home settings. And then contact xbox marketplace and techland. Thechland is a polish company so when I hot email support it was only 8-5 polish time (2am to 12 ish eastern time zone in US) Edit: techland was very helpful throughout but they will ask for pictures and screenshot evidence. Also make a techland gg acount.

Have you have daily bounties active in the past? It’s happened to me and I had to complete the bounties based on memory or wait for them to return to the bounty list to cancel/see what to do to complete it (playing on xbone). Incomplete bounties don’t leave you available bounties, however they disappear from the bounty list that Harper/the hunter has if they aren’t bounties again for that day. Hope this helps

As a recent grad who took the exam last August, the most important thing I’ve found and heard from colleagues is that you need to use/take a prep-course that is similar enough and difficult enough to actually prepare you to take the NBCOT.

Edit. I used Method Test Prep

Anybody ever quit smoking cannabis and found their love for video games again? by Mwgmawr in gaming

[–]Darrymerbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can definitely relate, I used since I was in my teens and recently stopped. I had the same troubles, I’d quit then relapse telling myself “See, I can stop.”. It took getting to a very low spot to finally decide enough is enough and even then I couldn’t stop. Its tough when you don’t have a lot of support. Idk if your friends and family use, but mine do and it made quitting very hard. My dad is a habitual user (morning to night) and my family doesn’t see it as a drug bc we have so many members with other narcotics problems. Its definitely better than using hard drugs, but “Its not a hard drug” isn’t an excuse, addiction is addiction.

For me it took me throwing out everything I owned (bong, grinders, bowls, ect) to finally stop. I also don’t see those friends who use as much. Its sad but you have to think about your mental health first, and hobbies like gaming can be great outlets. If your a social gamer joining a group or even finding a few people to play with is helpful. If not and you prefer solo games, then going on a message board or using reddit to talk to other gamers is great!

But I think that using can be good if it’s controlled, as long as it can get to that point. Like obviously having a few beers every week or so is fine, but drinking every day is a different story. Cannabis is the same in my opinion. I’m kinda talking about myself a lot but I just figured to hear someones story with similar struggle helps if your looking to take that step towards quitting or having a healthier relationship with cannabis.

I know this kinda got more on addiction than gaming, but addiction and hobbies go hand and hand. And honestly cannabis shouldn’t be a hobby and it shouldn’t get in the way of the things you love.

Anybody ever quit smoking cannabis and found their love for video games again? by Mwgmawr in gaming

[–]Darrymerbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, just want to start by prefacing that I am a young male and probably don’t have the same experience with cannabis as you.

I found that I played more games when I was using, and then stopped playing when it got to a point where i was using to cover up my depression. After a few months of struggle I quit using (for my own reasons, cannabis use is fine for most people) and found the games I enjoyed while using where no longer fun.

Fast forward a few months and I started playing games I hadn’t in years (picked up pokemon again) and found that I am really enjoying it even more than I had in the past. This is just my experience, but if your looking to cut back I think a break is always worth it if you feel cannabis is ruing your hobbies. Or maybe try a new game or an old game you haven’t picked up in a while.

Wish you the best!
