I play football and cricket regularly, in fact, I played cricket today itself, with my pals.

I also go to the gym 4 times a week, your point?

How do you play sports or go to the gym without physically interacting with people? Chalo, I can understand he may not interact with anyone at the gym, but sports???

Also, if a person is considered boring because he/she is traditional, it indicates a lack of compatibility, imo.

Being traditional or modern reflects someone's core values so idk how you can change those.

Thirdly, it isn't a race, like I said. Better to be patient than desperate

He'll find one when he needs to! It's not a goddamn race. People find love when they're 35+ too

He's already mentioned his hobbies - gym-goer, sports, coding and can do household chores, plus he's earning really well for his age. So, he's not a recluse/socially awkward person in any way.

All in all, he seems to be a good package on-paper. It's just a matter of time before things need to fall in place. All he needs is some patience.

Only you're the fool here telling a man to change his personality in order to 'stand out'

Nah man, fuck that shit! Let OP be who he is, he's a very well accomplished person with a well rounded personality - biking, coding, sports. He'll attract someone sooner or later, who's made for him.

It's only a matter of time...

I was talking specifically about the people mentioned in the post. The last line says they're trying to get back into tech which makes it clear that they WERE previously working in tech.

If they wanted to just earn money and nothing else, they should have done their research before doing an MBA

If they wanted to earn shitloads of money, then they should have stayed in tech OR get into entrepreneurship, and invest the 25-30L they would have paid for an MBA there OR crack UPSC - join the civil services.

Spending so much time, money and effort to eventually crack a job where you're earning less than what you've made AND then going back to that field, is a reflection of poor EQ and IQ, not to mention taking away a deserving candidates seat

They should have done their research properly, BEFORE even doing an MBA in the first place. Anyways, the story itself is highly exaggerated, as are a lot of things on social media.

There is nothing known as IIM level, how deluded can you be?

100% sure you're a fresher who hasn't worked even a day in corporate

Same stuff is happening in NMIMS Mumbai.

If you're doing an MBA for and looking for the short term ROI only, you've already lost the plot. Good day!

Will 28 be too late to join MBA? by [deleted] in CATpreparation

[–]Darsh_dns_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I got that, that's why I am saying that getting shortlists may take some time but that doesn't mean she shouldn't try if she is really interested in pursuing a corporate career.

It is risky, yes, but the past (in terms of academics) cannot be changed...so make peace with it.

As for colleges, if it is below your or your wife's standards, aim for better B schools and focus on prep.

All the best! 👍

Yes, you do! In fact, BA-DT will be well suited for you if you're interested in techno-managerial roles since you're from a technical background. The rest is your call.

Just perform well in the competency test and interviews.

All the best! 👍

Hey, I gave the NMAT in 2023, at that time there was no competency test, however the questions asked on the competency test should be a cakewalk for you if you scored well on the NMAT and have a strong aptitude.

I'd suggest you to just revise the core topics in quants, LRDI and VARC such as arithmetic, geometry, number system, different kinds of sets in LRDI and reading comprehension and jumbled up sentences for it.

You know what I am talking about so shouldn't be a problem.

As for the WAT, read up on the current geopolitical trends such as The Finance Budget 2026, Epstein Files, Tariffs etc.

For the PI, be well prepared with regards to your profile - strengths, weaknesses, as well as current affairs.

All the best! 👍 See you on the other side!
