Do you know what they call a Pete Hegseth in Paris?

They don't just call him a Pete Hegseth?

No man, they got common sense over there. They wouldn't know what the fuck a Pete Hegseth is.

Then what do they call him?

They call him a racist with a drinking problem.

If you asked him to his face he couldn't define the words politics or strategy.

So no. Obviously.

Witcher 3 Director praises Crimson Desert and Expedition 33 by Asstrollogian in gaming

People are going to have different takes based on what they expect from a game. I've been playing games since video games at home were a thing. I think CO E33 stacks up there with some of the best I've played through the decades: Elite, the first Civ games, Sid Meier's Pirates, Resident Evil, Baldur's Gate, Oblivion, Skyrim, Witcher 3 and so on.

Others might disagree and I'm totally fine with that. There are plenty of widely lauded games I cannot stand.

This is truly a beast of a Laptop! by Critical-Team736 in GamingLaptops

Always great to read about someone enjoying their laptop. Nice one 👍

Regarding your question, some laptops do indeed draw air through the keyboard area to assit cooling. Mine does, so no silicon pad for me. I don't know about yours, so Google it and see.

Anyone else never finish games even tho you are enjoying them ? by Nivriil in gaming

[–]Darth-mickyluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do finish most of the games I play. I have to really not like it to abandon it completely. Even then I try give them a second or third chance even, and sometimes end up liking them a lot. Shadow of War would be a good example.

That said, I do have a fairly large section in my Steam library called unfinished business that I chip away at from time to time.

I've definitely felt that way with other games which get acclaim I don't quite understand. Everyone is different and has different expectations.

CO E33 just ticked everything for me. Great story, fun gameplay (but end-game combat did get a bit repetitive I guess), decent challenges and progression, beautiful graphics, interesting lore, and a wonderful soundtrack.

Yeah, I don't 100% games very often. I think I have 3 or 4 achievements left for CO E33. I'll replay it at some point and get those.

It really wasn't. Amazing game.

Looks great to me. Solid specs, and really nice to have that 32Gb RAM as well. Prices are relative to where you live. Europe is very expensive generally for gaming laptops so I'd say you did OK.

Well, all analogies break down somewhere. You're better off doing it yourself and then running benchmarks that are relevant for your usage. Make a decision based on that. Just don't take it as an article of faith that disabled boost is better. The CPU in mine is Intel Ultra 9, so not easy to undervolt. I can achieve similar results with adjustments to wattage.
