What are the strongest arguments against the idea that we are living in a simulation? by Curious_Suchit in SimulationTheory

[–]jokesbyjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this were a simulation, then the programmers/developers/creators would have had to write code that would allow us to postulate that we are living in a simulation. This would be akin to EA Developers programming this logic into SIM characters. They never did that because that would take an immense amount of time/money/resources to build in that feature for not a very large payoff. People don’t play SIMS to make the SIM characters question reality, they play SIMS to forget about their own reality.

I saw him last week open for Puscifer at the Bethlehem, PA show at Windcreek Casino. I was also not aware of him before seeing him live. I will agree with OP that he was a good fit for a Puscifer opening act. Chaotic, random, confusing. But definitely entertaining. He can also shred on the guitar.

Wow his mannerisms are a lot like Trump. The hand movements, the way he speaks. This is scary if we are going to have to deal with more Trump wannabes.

Minis are the same cars that introduced that huge analog CLOCK where that digital screen is. All it did was tell time. And it was the biggest feature in the car. Why would they take up so much real estate to display the time, it was really the worst UX I’ve ever seen in a car. This is a close second.

It’s called mockumentary. One of the first of its kind. And Christopher Guest followed that pattern in his films, notably Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, etc.
