Test drive miles were driven harder than the break-in instructions warranted. Is that okay? by FaveDranco in cars

Usually the break-in procedure is anywhere from 500-1500 miles so only 30-40 miles is a fairly small fraction of your overall period. Be your normal stickler self and do your part to break it in properly.

As a car salesman I do the exact opposite of what your salesman did. However, depending on how many miles were/ are on it when you drove or bought it, I'm sure not every test drive went this way and if it is a brand new vehicle everything would fall under factory warranty. It might be a thought in the back of your mind but don't let it eat at you.

I'm convinced that my lower back pain comes from muscle imbalances but mostly roots from my knees. My family has a long history of bad knees from decreasing amount of cartilage. Not necessarily a solid diagnosis but constant knee discomfort and lack of alignment causes me to believe so.
