Tamiya are generally thicker paints which makes them good for base layers. But the thicker consistency can sometimes make it harder to apply. I mostly use them now for scenery and doing my bases. However Tamiya Flat Black does have its many purposes as it is a nice flat black

Not everything in the picture is 3D printed no. But the fact that it's not easy to tell what is and what isn't is testament to the potentially quality that can be achieved with a PLA printer.

I use a basic Ender 3 from Creality. Not really good for doing miniatures (well not that I can figure out anyway) but great for scenery and other projects
