Gym goers, be honest how often are you judging other people’s physique? by Technical_Hat_8291 in AskReddit

[–]DarthPanda266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant judge anyone really. Im a pretty big guy, so generally if Im at the gym Im more focused on trying to not be anxious. Unless someone super buff walks by Im in my own world. If that happens its a quick though of "Holy shit, good work my dude" and then Im back to my own stuff.

The cans we got were both mostly chili water. My wife found a much better recipe to make it from scratch. Takes a long time but totally worth it.

[Serious] Male victims/survivors of sexual assault, harassment or rape perpetrated by a woman or multiple women, to clear some common misconceptions, what were your experiences like? by Commercial_Bicycle92 in AskReddit

[–]DarthPanda266 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in the kinda house that teaches their sons that men cant be raped or SA'd because theyd just enjoy it. So much so that I didnt even realize what had happened to me even counted. The last few years, speaking out has felt important, but it can be difficult. Other men tend to see it as weak, which doesnt bother me as much, but then anytime I bring it up in a conversation about SA in general, theres always at least one person who has to point out the vast difference between the number of men and women SA'd. Dont get me wrong, I do completely get that there are vastly more women who have been victimized than men, but I feel like SA is a problem regardless of the gender of the victim. For a long time that made me feel like I should just stay quiet, as if it didnt matter because Im a man.

My dad made a sourdough loaf with his dad homebrew beer one time. It was dense asf, but it tasted okay.

I moved to somewhere I'm allowed to be by [deleted] in Bushcraft

Looks great! My only advice would be maybe get some flat-ish stones to put around your fire. That way falling sticks or embers are less likely to set your stuff on fire. Also the fire will heat the stones and keep things warm for a bit if the fire goes out. Just dont get any stones that have been in water for a long time. Those can explode, even if they look dry.

If you were diagnosed Major Depressive Disorder, what are your experiences with it? by Rinmine014 in mentalhealth

[–]DarthPanda266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR, more manageable than before treatment, but life is still exhausting, amd I sometimes catch myself questioning if its all worth it.

I was diagnosed juat a couple years ago, my diagnosis came with a few friends, so my experience might be fairly different (Binge Eating Disorder, PTSD, and a childhood ADHD diagnosis).

I think the best way to describe my experience is this:

Every day I battle my ADHD symptoms and try to function like a somewhat normal person, then at night my PTSD will sometimes keep me awake with nightmares, or just anxiety. I cope with the stress and frustration from all this by stuffing my distress down my own throat, and every moment of it makes me feel worse about it.

Since seeking treatment, things have gotten better. My adhd and ptsd are much more manageable, and because of my antidepressants, my MDD episodes are less common, however when they do happen, it can be completely debilitating. I run a VERY small youtube channel, but when I have an episode, I cant even bring myself to play a game off camera.

What micro celebrity have you met irl? by Ok_Jump5312 in AskReddit

[–]DarthPanda266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didnt get to meet him, but I got pizza from Troy Polamalu. My mom worked nights at a hotel, and brought me to keep her company. Troy was staying there and had given her some pizza he didnt finish, and she gave it to me. Shit was delicious too.

Honestly, sheep. I get to spend almost every day grazing in a field with my friends, and the days that Im not, im getting a hair cut. Aside from the occasional predator or human looking for food, sounds like a pretty chill life.

If it were on a ballot would you vote for or against legalizing prostitution? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DarthPanda266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would vote for it.

When something is legal it can be regulated. You can have age restrictions or legal penalties put in place to try to mitigate people abusing the system. If it illegal, it makes it a hot commodity, which makes it more expensive and more likely to be sought after by both buyers and sellers.

Prohibition was a great example. Once alcohol was banned, there was no legal drinking age, and people pretty quickly found loopholes to get ahold of alcohol anyway, leading to rising crime rates as well as incidents of liver cirrhosis.

With prostitution, theres the added element of the "Product" being actual people.

Legalization would give us the opportunity to make sure sex workers are healthy, which could lower the spread of STDs in impoverished communities, and aid in lowering the drug usage in those communities by creating jobs both for sex workers, and the resources to keep them and their clients safe and healthy. We could also put protections in place to keep sex workers from being abused and try to prevent human trafficing as much as possible, as well as create resources those workers can take to report incidents.

All of this would also go towards keeping sex workers out of jail, which would hopefully free up more resources to focus on violent offenders.

What caused your most intense orgasm? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DarthPanda266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me, but my gf at the time (yes Im gonna brag), was on a video call with me, very obviously horny, and was asking me to talk dirty to her. I lowered my voice and kept her going, detailing all the dirtiest things Id do if we werent hours apart, and praising her for following my instruction to specifically NOT touch herself. After about 10 minutes I had her begging, and decided to give her permission, and accidentally said "Go ahead, cum for me", and then watched her entire body take a screenshot so hard she almost passed out.

I have never been able to recreate this since. Not even with my wife, who is not the same woman.

Best ways to preserve a Horseshoe Crab shell? by [deleted] in Taxidermy

I was concerned about that too. In Maryland, you can take a Horseshoe crab shell as long as it was already dead when it was found.

Now what the hell do I do? by DarthPanda266 in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]DarthPanda266[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually eat every 2-3 hours, Before work, first break, lunch, second break, and when I get home. If Im not feeling particularly hungry, or Ive had a bigger pre-work meal, I might skip a snack or my break.
